Overview
There are numerous places in London that inspired the Harry Potter book series—you just have to know where to look for them. This guided Harry Potter tour takes you through the city to see the sights that provided inspiration for Diagon Alley, the Leaky Cauldron, and Platform 9 3/4. You’ll explore the city with fellow Potter fans, and hear fun, behind-the-scenes info from your guide along the way.
What to Expect
This Harry Potter walking tour in London meets in Leicester Square. Once you’ve met your guide and fellow Potter fans, head out through the streets.

Your guide takes you to places that inspired the fictional places made up by J.K. Rowling, including Diagon Alley, the Leaky Cauldron, and Platform 9 3/4. You’ll also stop by coffee shops and other spots where the author sat to write some of the book series. Plus, walk across Millennium Bridge, the site of Lord Voldemort’s brutal muggle attack in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

As you walk, your guide tells you entertaining behind-the-scenes information and also has props and photos to make your experience even more memorable.

Your magical adventure ends at King’s Cross Station.

Very Well Done!

Overall, I really liked this tour. We walked through different parts of London so it was almost like a built-in sightseeing tour. This was my first time in London so to me, that was an added bonus. My guide knew a lot about Harry Potter,...More

Very Disappointing Tour Guide

Very disappointing tour due to the uninformed and unprofessional tour guide. The guide was late to begin with(offering the bizarre excuse of British rain causing transport delays) and the contact number provided is strangely an American number, to which we eventually got through to but...More

Not as magical as we wished

Although the guide showed up late, I was willing to give him a chance. Unfortunately, it soon became apparent that his Potter knowledge was limited. He was very repetitive and had limited knowledge or love of Harry Potter. You will see some nooks and crannies...More

I can only apologize for your bad experience, most of our guides were on vacation and we didn't have the opportunity to train the last minute stand ins to the level we aspire to.

I don’t know. It’s a walking tour so most likely weather would be a factor. We were there in March. Had a really good day. No rain!

Its about 3 hours, and you need to be able to pay for the Tube, but it doesn't have to be an Oyster Card. You can buy a ticket or use Apple Pay.
