- jonrachelp0 contributionsWonderful AdventureI could not have dreamed of a better tour. Ian planned it perfectly and shared lots of knowledge. Van was very comfortable. We walked about small villages and down country lanes in the Cotswolds like a family of residents rather than like a large group of tourists. Got a delicious taste of the Cotswolds!Written September 10, 2024

We especially loved the ruins at Minster Lovell Hall! The history was so rich with detail and thoroughly explained by our fantastic tour guide, Jo! - colinmc120 contributionsAmazing Day visiting the CotswoldsWe had an outstanding experience on our Cotswolds tour with Graham as our driver. From the moment he picked us up in Windsor, everything was seamlessly arranged. Graham's expertise and personable approach made the day exceptional. Our journey began with a visit to the picturesque Castle Combe, followed by the charming village of Bibury. We continued to the delightful Bourton-on-the-Water, the beautiful Slaughters (both Upper and Lower), and drove through the historic Burford. Our tour concluded with a visit to Minster Lovell, showcasing the best of the Cotswolds. Graham executed our planned itinerary flawlessly, and we appreciated his smooth driving throughout the day. At the end of the tour, he kindly dropped us off at our Heathrow airport hotel as requested. It was a perfect day filled with stunning scenery and enriching experiences—highly recommended!Written July 30, 2024

- jacquitwins130 contributionsFantastic, highly recommended, tour and guide!Amazing trip. Ian picked us up from Southampton port and took us on a wonderful trip to Stonehenge and then to Bath. He was super knowledgeable and was a ton of fun! He suggested his favorite local lunch place in Bath and we ate our first truly British meal. Needless to say it was delicious! It was truly a wonderful day! Would highly recommend Ian for your trip!Written June 14, 2024
- Spencer F0 contributionsGreat Day In The CotswoldsThis was a great day out in a small group tour of the Cotswolds. Our guide Andrew was delightful and we had about 8 hours of driving to different Cotswolds villages, exploring and experiencing them. It was well organized itinerary wise with comfortable travel in the van. For this trip there were only 6 of us (usually 8) so even better! Thank you to Ian and Andrew for making this such an enjoyable day out! Btw, my favorite village was Stow-on-the-Wold ; )Written June 14, 2024
- Dajsam0 contributionsVery enjoyable trip around some highlight parts of the CotswoldJo the guide was excellent, friendly and informative. The places we visited suited our sense of what the tour was about. The locations visited gave a great sense of the whole Cotswold area. The small group setup was great.Written June 14, 2024
- Paul R0 contributionsCotswold private tour.We toured for three days and got to see a lot of the Cotswolds. Both Ian and Joe were excellent drivers and very informative. We used Oxford as a base which necessitated a lot of driving from Oxford to the various small villages we wanted to visit. If I were to take this trip again, I would only stay in Oxford, one or two nights and then stay in one of the villagesat the end of each dayWritten June 13, 2024
- michaeldT7912ST0 contributionsGreat father daughter experience! We really enjoyed the tour and learned a ton about the Cotswolds! My 14 year old daughter had a great time as well and took hundreds of photos. Lunch was really fun in Bourton on the Water and we also stopped for coffee and dessert along the way in some of the smaller villages. Would highly recommend!Written June 12, 2024
- charliesp0 contributionsCharming and quaintAndrew was knowledgeable and entertaining. Group was small and manageable. Drove through two of the villages without stopping but stopped in 3, all of which had notable history. Would definitely do it again!!Written June 11, 2024

We had a private tour through the Cotswolds and Blenheim Palace with Ian. Our family enjoyed Ian's firsthand knowledge and fun stories as we toured the villages. Everything about the trip is coordinated by Ian and he makes the experience so enjoyable. He knew exactly how to plan our trip with ages ranging from 14 to 72. We all highly recommend this tour and the Blenheim Palace and grounds were a wonderful stop in addition to the quaint and beautiful Cotswold villages.

My wife, daughter, and I really enjoyed our private tour of the Cotswolds and Blenheim with Graham as our guide. I felt like we were just a group of friends on holiday for the day; it was very casual. Graham did a nice job of getting to know us and what we liked to see, and tailored the tour for us on the fly. I've been to this area before, and it's mostly very crowded with tourists, especially in the summer. I was so impressed with how Graham was able to take us to quiet, out of the way villages where we could really experience the atmosphere of the area. He also took us to a nice restaurant where we had perhaps our best meal of the trip. We had a terrific day, and I highly recommend Undiscovered Cotswolds.

My friend and I did this tour at the suggestion of our travel agent, and she really found us a gem. The guide was helpful, friendly, and funny, and was in excellent communication with us ahead of time to make sure that we did exactly the tour we wanted. I have friends who live in the area, and they suggested some sights - our Hidden Cotswolds guide not only took those suggestions into account, but also steered us away from areas we'd asked to see that were very "touristy" and towards some quieter and utterly charming areas.
One of the nicest things about the tour was the pacing. We were able to spend most of the day doing the tour, and our guide gave us all the time we wanted to eat (he had good recommendations, too) and to shop, even if it meant he spent a fair amount of time meandering the streets while we oohed and aahed over cute things in windows.
Perhaps the best part of the tours, next to the beautiful views and charming walks, was (unexpectedly) the drives themselves, where our guide told us all about the villages and the Cotswolds in general. He was able to answer nearly all of our questions about both history and current life in the area, and had lots of insider and local knowledge to share, plus some great insights and anecdotes.
Looking at the drop-down box of tours that they offer, it's clear that there were more fun options we didn't even know about. We're hoping to come back with our families and tour again!

Ian was amazing as our tour guide. He was able to share a lot about the rich history of the Cotswolds and really seemed to care about the area. He picked us up right at the scheduled time and even went a bit overtime to make sure we could really soak in the sites and history. We discovered Stow in the Wold, Chipping Campden, Snowhill, Broadway, and the lovely Stanton Village ( must see). Then lunch at the oldest pub in England and off to Bleinheim palace ( of Lord and Lady Marlborough fame- The Favorite). The walking was very easy- a bit of a stroll around the palace, but you can easily sit outside and enjoy the view.
I would highly recommend Ian and his partner for touring !

What a relief to find a company who answered my emails within 24 hours! Graham was very punctual, well-informed, pleasant to be with and told us lots of legends and stories that made the tour so much more interesting. We visited the smaller villages and enjoyed a stroll along a stream, through a field of horses and past manors and ruins. My 6 year-old was enthralled with Wooley the stuffed mascot sheep. I was also very grateful to Graham for letting us run a bit overtime.
