City Sightseeing Edinburgh Hop-On Hop-Off Tour
From US$19.59
Overview
An Edinburgh city sightseeing bus tour means you can enjoy all the benefits of a guided tour—including hassle-free transport and onboard audio commentary—but still explore the sights at your own pace. Your ticket is valid for 24 hours, so you can hop on and off at attractions such as Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, and Arthur’s Seat, or stay on board and take in the views aboard an open-top double-decker bus.
What to Expect
Make your way to any of the 14 stops (see itinerary) to validate your 24-hour ticket, then hop aboard one of the open-top double-decker city sightseeing buses.

The entire circuit takes around an hour and you can jump off at any of the stops along the way to tour the sights, visit the city’s museums, or stroll around the UNESCO-listed Old Town on foot. While on board, don’t forget to plug in your headphones and listen to the onboard audio commentary, which will point out all the main attractions along the way and offer background history and fun facts to help you get the most out of your visit.

Nice overview of Glasgow with a REAL PERSON guide

Most Hop On Hop Off tours are audio recordings but this one had a real person and she was fabulous. We found the people of Glasgow friendly and the city has none of touristy feeling we experienced in Edinburgh

Awesome way for intro

Although it only hits 10 or so stops this was still a great way to get around and see the downtown area. Very informative narrative recording and clean and frequent buses so you never wait long. Spend time at grass market and walk around.
