We were there with the dog. I was a bit disappointed when we arrived and had to pay £27 (family of 4) to enter the country park while the Castle and the kids area was closed. Even with that I had to say we spent the whole day walking around. The views are just breathtaking.

Response from Rabbies_Aimee, Guest Relations Manager at Culzean Castle, Burns Country & the Ayrshire Coast Small-Group Tour from Glasgow
Responded Oct. 29, 2019
Respectful and effective communication is important at all times and we are sorry to see you felt Bobby was rude. All of our guides share stories and history throughout the journey to give context to the experience and bring everything to life. This is intended to add value to the tour so it's really disappointing to hear you found it annoying. We're glad you enjoyed Culzean and other stops on the itinerary but we're sorry that this tour didn't live yo to your previous experiences with us. We do hope to see you on tour again in the not too distant future. All the best, Aimee

The seat of the Kennedy clan and once a retreat for President Eisenhower, the castle is historically and architecturally interesting. The magnificent setting is a plus.
