The music will touch your soul and the dancing will take your breath away. It’s a truly remarkable experience suitable for all ages and nationalities. Music: Trad on the Prom showcases the amazing talents of legendary trad musician Máirín Fahy, the featured soloist with Riverdance and The Chieftains. Máirín is joined on stage by her world class band featuring the haunting music of the uilleann pipes, whistles and bouzouki performed by Gerard Fahy (musical director and composer of ‘Lord of the Dance’), multi-instrumentalist Yvonne Fahy on accordion and bodhrán (Irish hand drum), producer and host Chris Kelly on guitar, the electrifying Benny Hayes (keyboard and vocals) and concertina supremo Padraig Rynne. Dance: The show features a stunning lineup of world champion Irish dancers who have collectively amassed an astounding 25 World Champion titles! Dancers include Fergal and Cathal Keaney, returning to the stage having just performed lead roles in Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games on Broadway and London’s West End stages. Also returning are Claire Greaney (six-time World Champion), and champions Anne Marie Keaney and Emer Finnerty. The cast also includes charismatic World Champion Colm Conneely as well as the dynamic Gardiner brothers (current World Champion Matthew and two-time World Champion Michael). Song: Guest singers include Eurovision star Marc Roberts, ‘The Chieftains’ vocalist Yvonne McMahon and multi-AIMS winner Sean Costello.

Poor value for money in these straitened times. Tickets for 2 adults and 3 teens extremely expensive. No doubt a talented troupe of dancers, but exhorbitant price. Buyer beware!
