A wonderful afternoon in the Alsace wine region! Jerome was an outstanding host with a friendly approach to the group and an amazing knowledge of the wine, the region and Strasbourg. For those English speaking tourists, his English is excellent! The 2 wineries we visited were very good with friendly hosts and fantastic wine. The tastings were a great cross section of wines produced in the region and are well priced if you decide to buy a bottle or 3.

Our next destination during our European Vacay was Strasbourg a quaint town on the Alsace which is called, the Christmas Capital of the world, and as our agenda to visit Strasbourg was in the winter during the Christmas season, there were dozens of holiday markets and fairs with food, drinks, handcrafted goods, and many decorated Christmas trees with twinkling lights around the town, hence this city has been named as the Christmas Capital of the world, Set on the Rhine, Strasbourg is one of the finest medieval towns in Northeast France. It's also one of the most photogenic places you can visit in Alsace. With its historical monuments and striking architectures and the city's finest building Notre-Dame Cathedral, which is definitely one of the best Cathedral i have ever seen. it was definitely a place worth the visit. We were staying at Hotel Vendome which was just opposite the Railway station, we had a very good view of this small quaint town. We enjoyed walking around this quaint town and the various holiday markets and fairs and trying the various types of food, cakes and delicious wines being sold at the fairs. It is definitely a must visit for Holiday makers traveling around France as its very close to Paris and especially for those traveling France during Christmas, Strasbourg is a must visit to enjoy the Christmas season.

We visited three small wineries with fantastic wines and also had about an hour an half to explore and/or have lunch in the quaint town of Ribeauville, home of Trimbach Winery - fabulous Riesling if you can find a bottle. Our guide, Laurent, was great! She was very informative and did a wonderful job of coordinating all the locations and providing a stress free shipping option for any wine you purchased that day. Superb!!

Florence took us on a wonderful trip into the small wine villages of Alsace. We met the wine makers and tasted amazing wines. This is s great half day trip while in Strasbourg.

Wonderful, intimate tour of two wineries with Thierry. He was funny, informative, and a great host to give us the history of the area and an extensive knowledge of wine. We visited two great wineries, including a small, adorable family owned winery at the end. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Each of the two wineries we visited provided a very different perspective on the wines of the Alsace region. Very interesting and entertaining. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the wines of the region. I highly recommend this tour.

Pauline was an excellent tour guide and courteous driver. She was enthusiastic and informative. The wineries were great. We drove to outlooks over valleys and up into mountains to see the vine groves for the wines we tried at the wineries. Great half day tour.

Unfortunately, I can’t recall our guide’s name but he was amazing! He was informative, funny, and kept us entertained the whole time. Even taught us some things at the wineries, on top of what the employees at the wineries taught us. Very knowledgeable on white wine. Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour of two wineries. We drove south out of Strasbourg and through some beautiful countryside as well as stopping in the town of Obernai for some great views from high upon the hill. Thierry was a pleasant, funny and knowledgeable guide.
