VErsailles is a must see. However, expect a very crowded site. We had a audio guided tour but did not have our own guide, so basically, we were on our own. This was not what we had expected.
Once the home of Marie Antoinette and among the world’s largest palaces, the colossal and opulent Versailles is an essential outing for anyone visiting Paris. This small-group tour makes it easier than ever to explore the landmark. Hotel pickup and drop-off, plus round-trip transport via air-conditioned minivan, make the logistics simple. Select a half-day tour to explore with an audio guide, or choose the full-day option for an extensive guided tour.
Meet your guide at your Paris accommodation at the prearranged time. Tour groups are capped at eight.
Head to Versailles in the comfort of an air-conditioned minivan, and learn about the palace’s history from your guide.
Upon your arrival, if you selected the half-day tour, you receive an audio guide, available in eight languages, and explore the palace independently. See major attractions such as the Hall of Mirrors, Royal Apartments, and Versailles’ sprawling gardens.
If you are on the full-day tour, your arrival begins with a guided tour of the palace interior and its key sights, followed by a meal at a cafe on the grounds (own expense).
After lunch, discover Versailles’ gardens, Queen’s Hamlet, and Grand Trianon. If visiting on weekend dates between April and October, your garden tour coincides with a fountain show.
The tour concludes in Paris, where you are dropped at your accommodation.

My wife and I booked this tour on June 9, 2018. It is listed as a 4-hour tour but it is really less than a 1 hour and 30 minute tour of Versailles. First, we spent about 1 hour picking up other customers around Paris,...More
I tried to call ParisCityVision from the US twice and from Paris twice to check on some details of the tour I booked online. At any time of the day they have an automated answering service that just tells you to hold...then after awhile it...More
Joel was our guide, and was prompt to pick us up from our hotel. We were with 6 other people in our tour - mostly from US. We had quite a good time with Joel talking about Versailles and the too many Louis kings and...More
