Pause to admire the magnificent Eiffel Tower, cycle around the Champ de Mars, and continue to the Musée d'Orsay. Glide across to the Right Bank and stop at a café in the Tuileries Gardens. Perhaps enjoy tea or coffee, accompanied by a delicious cake or pastry (own expense), as you look out over the idyllic gardens. Great way to experience Versailles
The cycle tour must be the best way to experience the grounds of Versailles. Our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. At the market he gave great recommendations of where to buy our supplies and at the palace advised us of what not to miss. The palace itself is so majestic! The downside is the number of tourists going through the palace at the same time, it was a bit overwhelming. There were lots of coach tours. Maybe it is quieter on a weekday???

Explore the estate on 2 wheels
Fun and educational this tour helped to burn the extra carb calories from the French pastries we have enjoyed. We were transported to Versailles via the rail system, then fitted with bikes and off to the open air market. Note that there are very few public restrooms, so hydrate carefully. However, our guide did know about all the best restrooms and instructed us to make use of them. We bicycled around the estate stopping periodically to learn about important sites and areas. Then we picnicked on the lawn before going on to our next adventure. Our guide dropped us off at the gate to the castle where we were able to tour at our own pace. The entry was quick and the line was not bad at all. When we did get into the castle, there were certainly huge groups of people, but it was completely navigable and we were able to see those things that were important to us. We never expected to be alone, so the number of tourists didn't bother us.

Paris highlights night bike and river cruise
Easy access and very helpful team to get us equipped for our ride. Cesar guided us through Paris streets very well. Always alert to keep our group together. Several stops to share information and sites for photos. River cruise included right past the Eiffel Tower- beautiful view from the boat. Overall wonderful experience.

Fat Tire Tours, Paris AWESOME experience! Definitely worth $$ for "Skip the Line and Summit Access"
Amazing experience for the whole Family! Johnny from TX was our tour guide. Very knowledgeable and kind. We met at Fat Tire Tours (I would recommend eyeing this area alittle bit before hand, especially if not familiar with location). Walked to Eiffel Tower, the whole time Johnny discussed history, fun facts (interested the smallest of the family, and information easy to remember for school), and pointed out structures, landmarks while on tower tour. Would definitely recommend. "Skip the line" was great. Althought there was still a line, NOT at all compared to people trying to buy same day tickets. Johnny went above and beyond, and actually stayed alittle after his end tour time, as it did take alittle to get to top (because initially it was closed, and we waited for the Summit to re open). That was extremely kind of Johnny, as he did share more infromation once we reached the Summit. Thank you! Merci Beaucoup.

      Fun family day!
Wonderful day. Our tour guide Harrison was fun and knowledgeable. Enjoying hitting the markets to grab lunch. Biking around the gardens with lovely. The VIP tour of the palace was ok, but at the end of a long day in the sun I would rather have just wandered the palace solo. All in, excellent experience.

Easiest way to do the Eiffel Tower summit climb
We did the 6 pm tour of the Eiffel Tower the first Monday of June. The weather was beautiful and the lines were short and easy. There was a short walk with a great photo opportunity, some historical info, and a brief bag check. The line to board the elevator to the 2nd floor was about a 8-10 min wait, the line for the summit was maybe 5 min at the most. It was a great time of day, clear views, very energetic and interesting tour guide, and we were left at the top to enjoy the views for as long as we wanted. Highly recommend this tour, great experience.

The best way to truly see Versailles!
According to all the travel guides and articles I read before coming to France, Fat Tires has been doing bike tours all over the world longer and better than anyone. So even though it wasn’t the first company listed on Trip Advisor for a Versailles bike tour, I booked them anyway. They lived up to their stellar reputation! From the personalized app they provided for our trip, to the video that showed the exact meeting point, to the fabulous guide (OJ), they didn’t disappoint. They were both organized and thorough. The amount of time allocated for each stop was perfect, and for us the highlights were everything before the actual palace— the market, lunch by the lake, the Trinanons and Queen’s Hamlet. There is no way to see all of this on foot; the full grounds are far too large and extensive. This was worth every penny we paid! *Special recognition: once we picked up the bikes, my adult daughter realized she forgot how to ride a bike (yes, I guess you actually can forgot this after riding as a child!) and decided she couldn’t do the tour with us after all. Our guide (OJ) was kind and understanding. He took the time to map out an alternative plan for her day. She ate at the market, relaxed at a cafe, visited street vendors, and toured the gardens on her own by foot with a map he provided. Then she later met us at the palace for the timed entry to tour the palace at the end. This could have been a disaster and ruined the day for us, but OJ handled everything like a professional and was both compassionate and efficient—making sure the group schedule stayed on track and on time. And, making sure my daughter still saw the palace and gardens. Thanks so much, OJ!

Magical, History, Culture & Fun all in One !
The trip was not only a breeze because we were so well taken care of, but I cannot imagine a better was to enjoy Versailles ! The brilliance of the way the bike tour is done gets you French culture, amazing food from fresh market (you pick & buy, but wise direction is given), fun history lesson & not to mention riding a bike on the groups of Versailles is magical !!!

BEWARE!! Do not book with this provider. I booked over a month ago, and was supposed to receive a refund if I cancelled. I had to cancel, and they would not agree to provide a refund per their refund policy. Unless you are 100% certain you can attend your tour, I would not recommend booking with them.

We had the most fabulous bike ride round the most famous sights of Paris with OJ. He kept us all so safe riding out on the road and was funny, informative, and caring especially with kids also on the tour. It was a brilliant way to see Paris and not tiring at all as you had regular stops to take in the sights and have photo opportunities.

Highly recommend, even our teenages loved it and they are very hard to please!

While planning for my Paris vacation I came across with "FAT TIRE TOURS" . I was bit hesitant as i was planning this excursion with my wife and 2 boys (Ages 9 and 5). After consulting with my wife and persuading her that we will be riding it like Parisian! I booked their service with 2 bikes one with tandem and other with carriage.

On the day of our tour we were getting late so I called their customer services and they told us not to worry & we can meet our group directly in their office! where everybody was given their respective bikes and helmet (optional for adults).

So after the toilet break, we went with our friendly guide "Richard" who help us a lot. As we were riding the bike with tandem/ carriage it was bit tricky to control the cycle and pass through the narrow space. But Richard and other group member were very supportive. We had an adventurous ride through the main attractions of Paris during our 3 hours tour, but believe me it was money well spent.

This was our third Fat Tire tour after London and Berlin. We were not disappointed. Miloo was a fantastic guide as we gently pedaled through Paris. As with all Fat Tire tours, the guides were careful to look after all of use. Easy pace, one small hill that made me walk (I'm almost 60-something) . As always, we recommend that you take a Fat Tire Bike Tour on the first day in your city, to help you decide where you want to really visit for the rest of your tour. Met more lovely friends from around the world.
This is a fantastic way to see the highlights of an amazing city.

One of the BEST ways to see iconic Paris! Easily accommodated our 11 and 9 year old. Our 9 year old rode a tandem bicycle with her dad and loved it. They have multiple sizes of bicycles to fit children. They had cheap and easy rain gear to purchase which was much appreciated to battle the weather. Our guide, Australian (9 years removed) Dave, was so knowledgeable and weaved French history in interesting ways about all landmarks. He was kind, patient, and always safe. One of the best guided tours our family has taken. He had tons of local suggestions. This company was also very attentive to their messages and replies. Will absolutely recommend this company and book again in the future! Thank you for being the best tour our family took in Paris!

I booked the morning bike tour for my husband's birthday and I'm so glad I did. My children aged 5 and 9 had a great time as well. The younger one had a tandem and the older one, a bike of his own. Driving on busy roads felt a little scary at times if you're not used to riding on roads like me. However,
it was certainly an adventure and we all had fun. The guide stopped at regular intervals to ensure we were all doing okay. The group were kind towards my children and we couldn't fault the guide. If you are likely to need the ladies after almost 2 hours of cycling at the stop off for lunch, I wouldn't bother ordering anything from the cafe. Myself and younger son walked some distance to the edge of the park to use the public toilet and experienced a long wait for the ladies. By the time we got back to the cafe we had to leave. We also found the waiter to be unwelcoming and the menu was expensive. Apart from this, we had a great time and I would recommend this experience as a unique way to see Paris in a few hours and learn some interesting facts. We tipped the guide as she was amazing.

This was our favorite thing we did on our 2-day trip to Paris. It was excellent to see so many sights without the slowness of walking and the crowded metros. We got to hear stories about the different sites, interesting and engaging but not too long - it was perfect. We are experienced bikers, and for us it was great and easy. For less experienced bikers, I can say it is slightly chaotic at times. There is one guide for about 16 participants. Our guide was great, and he kept an eye out on the back of the group, but still - it's the center of Paris and I would recommend this to people who are used to riding their bikes in cities. The bikes had baggage carriers on them which was great for us because we had bags that could clip on. The place where you rent the bikes is very laid back and felt like an oasis in Paris I have to say. Very friendly, you can leave your stuff in a cubby, they have bathrooms you can use, and water bottles you can buy for a euro. Our guide was so friendly and at every key site offered to take pictures of anyone who wanted that with their phones. He even got down on the ground to get a stellar shot of us in front of the Eiffel Tower!

It was overall a pleasant experience taking into account that we were travelling with 2 kids of 7 and 10 years old. The guide found appropriate bike sizes for them, which were quite new and comfortable. Despite the day heat everybody seemed to enjoy the ride. We had a "lunch" break at a Cafe where we had some ice-cream and juice at an unreasonable price.
We visited the most well-known places of interest and took some lovely pictures.
The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and was happy to answer our questions.

Meeting point was easy to find and our tour guide was amazing—she was friendly, knowledgeable and organized. It was very cold the day of our tour—my friend had on a thin jacket and our guide offered my friend her jacket! That was awfully kind. The tour was the perfect length and our guide stopped at all of the right moments, just when we needed to take a rest or see the iconic landmarks around Paris—she provided a lot of information at each stop. She took wonderful photos of me (caught me jumping at just the right moment in front of the Eiffel Tower)!!!! At the end, she recommended some great places to grab lunch. We ate at Le Zinc, which was amazing for lunch. I would highly recommend Fat Tire Tours for bike tours in Paris. Having a great guide makes all the difference in a tour and a SPECTACULAR TOUR! I highly recommend!

This was a wonderful tour that took you all around Paris to see the main sites. Our tour guide, “Dave” was exceptional! He told us so much about the history of the city and made it easy to understand and remember. He handled all the riders of varying ages and skill level so well and made it safe for everyone. It was such a fun trip and I felt like we were able to see so much. This was my second time in Paris and second time taking a Fat Tire Bike tour. It, once again, was the highlight of my trip. Highly recommend!!!
