Highlights
Cover key WWII D-Day landing sites in a day from Paris
Travel with ease to Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery, and other sights
Discover stories, facts, military maps, and plans you might otherwise miss
Smooth minivan travel and group limited to eight let you focus on the sites
What to expect
Your tour begins in central Paris, where you board an air-conditioned minivan destined for Normandy. As you travel, your guide tells of the bravery and strategies behind the WWII D-Day landings. Hear soldiers’ personal stories, and learn how the Allied June 1944 campaign changed the course of the war. Your guide uses military maps and photos to provide a detailed picture of the operation, and show the difference between what was planned and what happened. Visit the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial before continuing to the Overlord Museum to view its exhibitions on the planning and execution of the landings. Next, head for Omaha Beach, where US and British troops landed, and then visit one of the defensive German bunkers to discover how the Allies managed to neutralize them. After a tasting of Normandy apple cider, your tour concludes at the departure point in Paris.

This was an incredible experience. Our tour guide Antoine was exceptional, If you are looking for a great 1-day tour of the D-Day experience, this is a perfect choice. The minivan was an effortless way to get from Paris & back. Antoine was an excellent guide: knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced. As a small group, it was superb.

Everyone should take this tour
I booked this tour online for me and my 60 year old mother during our visit to France. The pre tour instruction of when and where to meet were easy to follow and we were picked up right on time. Our guide Adrian was so nice and very informative! He was a good and cautious driver and considerate of the guests needs in the van. We drove for an hour and a half before stoping at a gas station for a bathroom break and snacks. We then drove for another hour and a half before stopping at our first destination which was the German bunkers along the coast. They are in remarkably good shape and huge! You get to go into the bunkers and explore around. From there we drove less than 20 minutes to Omaha Beach. We had time to walk on the beach and up the hill to the memorial. We walked about 5 minutes to the American cemetery. The cemetery is massive and so moving. From the cemetery, we drove about 10 minutes to a pre selected restaurant for lunch. The food wasn’t the best I have had, but it wasn’t bad. After lunch, we drove about 5 minutes to the Overload Museum which has some of the original items found on the beach after D-Day and some replicas. From there, we drove about 15 minutes to see the cliffs the American Soldiers had to climb up and the landscape still covered with craters from bombs. We were supposed to go to an Apple farm to end the day but given that it was Sunday, it was closed. We headed back to Paris. All in all, it was about a 14 hour day, but worth it! It was impressive how much the guide knew and he was great with his timing, he didn’t over load us with information all at once and let us have our own time to explore the sights on our own. This is a trip everyone should take in their lifetime!

Back for Seconds - Normandy Tour
My husband and I took this same tour with Blue Fox a couple of years ago and loved it so much, we decided to come back to share the experience with my sister who loved it as much as we did. Olivia, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and well-spoken. She answered all our questions and was very amicable, helpful and energetic. I highly recommend this tour!!

O U T S T A N D I N G !
We visited Omaha beach from the eastern side near Gold Beach at low tide, examined several German artillery bunkers (wow), later visited the middle of Omaha beach and Victory monument closer to mid-tide, visited Overlord Museum (excellent displays!), toured American Cemetery near Omaha (breathtaking), great lunch at nearby restaurant, then toured Pointe de Hoc (remarkable). There is so much to see about the Normandy campaign, but if you only have 1 day... I highly recommend this tour.
As a retired AF Major General, and WW2 history buff, I thought this tour was great. This was a bucket list item for me and I'm so glad I had this experience. This helps history come alive as you see the terrain, weapons, uniforms, and walk the beach where America began the liberation of France & Europe. Its an inspiring experience of how the US and our Allies worked together to overcome incredible challenges, and at great sacrifice, provided hope and freedom to so many under enemy control. So many brave & courageous of America's finest did their part for us. This tour helps make that a personal experience. Highly recommend. It's an A+

More than a tour, a life experience
Aug. 2021 • Solo
A necessary tour for all those who have a personal connection with the WW2 or those who are simply history buffs.
We went through the main points of the D-day and everything is explained in great detail.
The experience provided by the company is completely personalized and very different from other options found on the market and about that is absolutely necessary to talk about Ollie. Ollie is without a doubt the best guide I've ever had, his passion and enthusiasm are inspiring. He will always be ready and willing to answer your questions and his personal connection to WW2 makes him the perfect man for the job.
