Notre Dame Cathedral is one of Paris’ top attractions, with a history dating back to the 12th century. On this guided visit, explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site cathedral inside and out, and gain insight into its Gothic architecture. With your guide to lead the way, see hidden details many visitors miss, hear the legend about the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and learn more about French history.

What to Expect
Make your way to Notre Dame Cathedral at the time chosen at checkout, and meet your guide near the cathedral to begin your tour.

First, explore the streets surrounding the cathedral—some of the first built in Paris. Admire the striking Gothic architecture from all angles, and listen as your guide points out hidden features high up the walls of this UNESCO–listed masterpiece.

As you explore, hear the tale about bell-ringer Quasimodo—the Hunchback of Notre Dame in Victor Hugo’s book—and consider if he was deserving of Esmerelda’s love.

Then, step inside the cathedral and discover treasures including the beautiful rose windows—through which the sun shines onto the stone floor.

When your time in Notre Dame Cathedral comes to an end, step outside to conclude your guided visit.
