A Unique Look Into Parisian Life
I loved the Flavourful Marais tour. The tour can be catered to you, and being able to stop at all the shops to pick out the fruits and cheeses on the way to our picnic at Place de Vosges was a lovely touch. Our wonderful guide was able to give us unique expertise that made me feel like a real Parisian. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get an insiders look into Parisian life and food.

    Most authentic taste of Paris.
This is by far the most authentic tour I have taken in Paris. Lisa has befriended all of the vendors, which makes the experience feel super special and familiar. The sweets were out of this world, and we began the tour with warm croissants and cappuccinos. After walking through the side streets of Saint Germain des Pres, a charming area, we ended with some of the best caramel I have ever had. I would love to try her savory tour. Lisa is a pure delight.

    Lovely family outing
Don’t hesitate to book! Lisa was warm, friendly and a knowledgeable tour guide. She was great with our kids (11 and 13) and we were lucky enough to have her dog walk with us around St.Germaine too! He is adorable!! Treats were good too!

    Best Paris Food Tour!
I had the pleasure of attending the Flavors of Paris Sweet Tooth Stroll this week and was extremely delighted! Lisa took our group around the Marais, showing us so many cute shops and monuments. We were able to taste Parisian pastries as well as jams and chocolates. Everything was so delicious and I just felt so immersed in the French culture. Lisa was so knowledgeable and taught me so many new things. I will definitely be recommending this tour to friends and family visiting Paris!

A Delicious Way to Begin Your Stay... The Best Sweets Paris has to Offer are Here!!!
My Mom and I took "The Sweet Tooth Stroll" tour yesterday, hosted by Lisa herself. We absolutely loved every minute of it, and didn't want the tour to end. Lisa leads you through the cobbled streets of Saint-Germain stopping to speak about the history of the area and fun facts that only a local Parisian would know. She takes you to cafes where the locals sip their coffee and eat their French pastries as they chat to one another casually. You sample the very best of the macarons, merengue, whipped cream, pastries, caramels, chocolate and these incredible fruit jellies. We had to buy some to take home with us and share with our friends and family. This tour is highly recommended and a great way to start your Parisian experience! Thank you Lisa and team!

    LOVE THIS TOUR
What's not to like right? But it's so much more than just getting to eat the best sweets. Ludovic takes you on this yummy journey and you also get a few treats to take home. Really worthwhile. We especially love the Apple (wish I could post a photo here). Looked like a real apple only the outside was white chocolate died green, dark chocolate stem, inside was a fantastic filling (we thought it was similar to key lime pie-both consistency & flavor but maybe more of an apple flavor). In the bottom was a crumb crust. I cannot describe it well enough to tell you how extraordinary it was. We also tasted chocolates, caramels and other sweets that are made right there in Rouen. Be sure to sign up for this!

Quest for Your Signature Scent Tour
Flavors of Paris was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend then based on my experience! I was only going to be in the city on Sunday and although the tour was normally not offered on that day they opened up a tour on Sunday just for me and my sister. Will, who led the scent journey, was extremely helpful with finding my signature scent even though I was a bit of a problem child. We started off by discussing what I was looking for in a fragrance, what scents I like, and what scents I’ve tried before. After getting a general direction, he took us down a shopping street that had so many scent shops as well as into department stores that offered a huge variety of brands. He was extremely patient while I sniffed scent after scent and in the end I found two perfumes that I loved! Even after the tour was over he texted me other options that he thinks I would like and should test before purchasing one. Overall, this was a great experience and I learned so much about what the various perfumeries offer on top of finding some fragrances that are perfect for me!

    Such a great time!
We had a great time on our tour with Lisa and met some new friends too. We learned new things about Paris and saw interesting architecture, learned some of the history, heard some funny stories, ate great food, received really good recommendations and stopped to explore places we wouldn’t have done otherwise on our own. Thank you Lisa for a lovely afternoon!

Lovely Tour - Bite Sized Saint-Germain
I was so excited to go on the Flavors of Paris Sweet Tour because I am a huge fan of Parisian pastries and wanted to learn more about them while taking a casual walk around the Saint-Germain neighborhood. (I've been here for a couple of months and Paris is extremely walkable and it's always helpful to walk off some of the drowsiness from sweets.) I enjoyed Lisa's knowledge and experience working with the vendors -- you could clearly see that there is a lot of trust between them. The first stop was a small family-owned Viennoiserie, which I didn't know much about before this tour. We then got to sample a lovely selection of candies, jams, and vinaigrettes from Provence, which look like perfect souvenirs for family. Our last stop was at a bakery with an ice cream stand. The portions were nicely sized to keep the tour going to multiple stops. I would also recommend talking to Lisa about any preferences you might have if there are sweets that you're more interested in!

    Outstanding visit to the Marais.
I have lived in Paris over 6 years and wanted to know more about the Marais. Lisa was recommended to me by a friend. Lisa was a superb guide. She is a true expert on the Marais and pointed out all sorts of interesting things that many other tours don’t know about. A guide with a wonderful personality and great expertise. Highly recommended.

    Best Saint-Germaine Tour
The three and half hours tour time might seem daunting, but considering all the delicious food you eat along the way, and the stories that the tour guide Ysrael tells, time flies very fast. The tour guide will take care of everything for you, and you simply need to sit down and relax until the food comes to you. The wine and cheese tasting part is certainly the best thing on the tour. The wine is fantastic, and cheese has so much variety that allows you to feel a different sensation each time (and the jelly that comes with the cheese is the cherry on the cake). The macaron and hot chocolate are a close-second with their delightfulness for those dessert-lovers. My friend who did the tour with me highly praises the croissants that we had at the beginning. Be sure to arrive at the meeting point on time though, as the tour sometimes starts right on the clock.

Great walking tour of the area and fun foods
We (5 of us) met Lisa at the church in St Germain du Pres and after some history, we walked to the Eric Keyser, bakery for yummy croissants, coffee and samples of different breads. From there, we walked and talked and then sampled olive oils and jams in a different store, Next was chocolates from the store next door, all were excellent and expensive. The last stop as a upscale grocery store, so that we could see how the French shop. There were lots of items that aren't carried in the traditional Kroger stores back home but were fun to see. There was a wine and cheese sampling of typical French fare. It was a fun and informational morning that we all enjoyed and would recommend to others that will have a 3 hr block of time in Paris and looking for something different to do. By the time we got done, lunch was not needed.

Thank you Ysrael, A stimulating three hour tour of the Saint Germaine area of Paris, combining local history and unique culinary high spots of one of Paris’ most eclectic and interesting tourist locations. Don’t eat before you go!! Coffee pastries, chocolate, artisanal olive oils and tapanades, cheese and wine combine for a palate satisfying Parisian experience. Highly recommend 👍🏻 Bon appetite!

My family and I took the Flavors of Paris Original Tour. We had a wonderful time with our guide Lisa; she was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We not only tasted delicious authentic treats, we learned a ton about the city of Paris as we walked around the neighborhoods. We visited a variety of local places and tasted croissants, baked goods, olive oils, cheeses, and wines. My family's and my's favorite part was the visit to the market, where we sat and tasted cheeses and wine. This was definitely a highlight of our time in Paris. Highly recommend Flavors of Paris tours to anyone looking for an immersive Parisian experience.

Exploring Saint Germaine with Lisa was great fun. As well as introducing us to a number of great shops with tasty delights, she also entertained us with stories about the products and the artisans that produced them. Our last stops were within a historic market where we met the vendors and learned about their specialties. Here Lisa picked out a variety of cheeses and pates for us to enjoy with wine - which we did as she shared more tasty tales.

My friends and I were visiting Paris and decided to take a tour with Lisa. This was by far one of the best things we did on the trip. We got to go to local spots and tasted cheese, wine, sweets and more. I would highly recommend this to someone looking to get away from all the tourist attractions and really experience French food and culture.

While the food tour was fine, we had booked it based on the fantastic reviews about Lisa. Needless to say, we were disappointed that Lisa was not our guide and we were not advised of this in advance - and given the option to rebook for a date that she was available. The gentleman who guided us around was a friendly university student but didn’t have the same level of knowledge and expertise that others mentioned in their comments about Lisa. It felt very overpriced given we were paying a premium price for the guide we had read about! The foods were all good quality and we enjoyed the shops we visited, and it was nice that the tour finished at a wine shop where we could also purchase additional wines. If booking this tour, I would suggest inquiring whether or not it will be with Lisa first.

This is the perfect all-in-one experience of Paris. The city is so big and rich in history and culture that one of the tour's greatest strengths was that it doesn't try to give you the whole Paris experience, just a real Paris experience. (It succeeds.)

You start in St. Germain and never really wander too far from where you began. It's light on walking, but that's not to say the tour doesn't show you some lovely sights. (Side note, I never knew what those green water fountains with the statues of women were until this tour.) The food was scrumptious, much of it unforgettable. Stuff like the raspberry balsamic was mind-expanding.

You'll get the finest of the standards—croissant, baguette, wine—but there were some delicious surprises in there too. A few of the more unique foods that we tried along the way—truffle olive oil, lavender apricot jam, pistachio spread—have quickly become favorites of mine and my friends'.

Meeting and interacting with the shopkeepers and specialists was also just a delight in itself. Tours normally will treat you like a tourist, but Lisa gets you to become a Parisian for a little while. Light on walking, a cute area, great food and wine.

Original Flavors of Paris Walking Tour of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood was a highlight of our trip. Dominic was an exceptional guide, and after spending several delicious hours, we left with a much broader knowledge of wine, cheese, pastry, olive oil, balsamic, jam and honey. We also learned about history and the fascinating food politics of France. I’m so glad we took this tour on our first day, because it helped us choose great restaurants, food and wine for the rest of our visit. I particularly admire Dominic’s reverence for cheese. He is truly a masterful, engaged, and passionate teacher.

We had a wonderful afternoon with Lisa on the Original Flavors of Paris walking tour! She gave us some great history and information about the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood and guided us to some delicious local spots. We started at a cafe for croissants and espresso. We made a few stops for baguettes and desserts. We then stopped at an adorable store where we tasted some olive oils and did a little shopping. We finished up at a very chic local market, where we sat down and had a selection of cheeses and wine, along with our baguette and delicious desserts! It was a delightfully Parisian way to spend our afternoon. She also offered us some really helpful suggestions for other stores and restaurants to visit during our stay in Paris! Overall, we highly recommend booking one of these tours!

My family had a lovely time on this epic Parisian food tour! Our expert guide, Lisa comfortably navigated us through the streets of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood and provided us lots of context, history and back stories. The dining locations were lovely as well! Incredible croissants, coffee and the highlight was the marketplace where we enjoyed wine, a selection of cheeses and much much more! I 100 percent recommend this tour to everyone.

My experience on Lisa's classical tour of the culinary heart of Paris was phenomenal. The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the array of desserts, cheeses and wines that Lisa introduced us to. Each stop featured a hand-picked selection that represented the very best of French gastronomy. From velvety chocolates and delicate pastries to robust cheeses and exquisite wines, every tasting was an adventure in flavor, carefully curated by Lisa. Her explanations of the origins and making of these delights added a rich layer of understanding and appreciation for the craftsmanship behind them. Lisa is a truly outstanding guide whose love for Paris and its culinary treasures makes her tour an absolute must do.
