My friend and I were a little unsure of using ebikes but we were reassured and had a little practice before setting off. Eric was really knowledgeable about the local history and answered all of our questions. He made sure we stayed together as a group despite me and my friend being at the back. At the end of the tour, we decided to have a break at the cafe where we had delicious homemade snacks and drinks.

We started this trip on 10/5 in Rome with a variety of tours. We also took the high speed train to Naples and did a 3-hour bike tour through the chaotic streets of Naples. We then boarded a Viking cruise on 10/11, which has taken us to Florence, Monaco, and now Marseilles. I say this only to give you some perspective. This was the absolute most amazing city and bike tour!!!! Laurent was our guide, and he was knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating. 1st - Marseilles is beautiful in every way. It was not nearly as frenetic as Rome or Naples, and we learned just enough - Laurent knew the right amount of time to stop (which is a big problem on the cruise line bus and walking tours. I wish we had more time here, and I hope to come back!! 2nd - he took photos of us at every stop. 3rd - he helped me find a Christmas ornament by stopping at a gift shop (I collect one in every city I visit). 4th - he mentioned the delicious pizza in Marseilles so we asked him to take us to get a slice and he took us to a place where we had the best slice of pizza ever, and I grew up outside NYC, so that’s saying a lot. And, the e-bikes were phenomenal. We rode to the very top of Cathedral Marseilles, which is very very high. I’m 66 — The bikes made the trip so easy. This was a wonderful day in Marseilles, and we highly recommend Laurent and Fada Bike for your bike excursion…you won’t be disappointed!!

Ebike made for an enjoyable ride. Our guide was knowledge and gave us plenty of time at each stop. Picked us up promptly at our ship and allowed us free time after the ride before they returned us to the ship port. Highly recommend!

I did this 3.5 hour small group e-bike tour to see more quickly (than walking), learn about the city and meet other people. (An e-bike also makes those hills easier!) Erik was knowledgeable about Marseille and took us to places I'd have no idea how to get to by myself. He made sure everyone was safe and comfortable on the bikes too, as we navigated around pedestrians and cars and rode up/down steep hills. Highly recommended!

Our guide Zanna was fantastic!!! She’s lovely, fluent in English, French and Dutch and lives locally. It was a fantastic experience. We arrived on the #evrima and had a lovely day in Marseilles!

Sofie was the best! She explained so well, took us all over, places we would never find on our own. She took her time, made sure we were hydrated, gave recommendations, and well, made the whole experience just so amazing! This was our favorite!

Only has one day in Marseille so we figured an e-bike tour would be a good overview of the city. Visited sites, learned a little history but got to see a lot more of the city than we would have on our own. Eassist of the bikes made it not that big a deal to bike. Tourguides English was great. You do want to be comfortable on a bike as some biking was in heavy traffic.

Great bike around Marseille yesterday on a beautiful day, they made the tour to suit all in our group. Would definitely recommend.

A two hour express tour was a great way to see the coast, views and notre dame de la garde. E-bikes were a lot of fun and helped us get up all those steep hills. Luis our guide was excellent.

Excellent time with Eric! He was very knowledgeable and well versed in the history of the city. He took good care of his group and was especially kind to my 11 year old son who was a little nervous as it was his first time using an electric bike. It can be a bit scary in some areas as there are no dedicated bike lanes but all in all, a must do if you want to visit all of the highlights of the city! Great value for your money if you are in good shape and adventurous!

After making the reservation, it was cancelled by Fada Bikes. Two days later, I still didn’t get my money back….. I asked several times, now they say it is because of get your guide takes several days. If so, I should have received at least an email confirming the cancellation. As I made the reservation on the site of fada bikes (and received only mails from them regarding the order and a reminder), this is nonsens. Don’t book a tour! Baja Bikes is the same company by the way. No other options in Marseille

We signed up for MSC cruise for sightseeing purposes at the ports of call. 9:15 meeting time and the tour description said we would be picked up at the ferry port with our name card. The night before the tour, I was informed that the time would be changed to 9:45. I agreed. At 9:45 AM that morning, no one was there. we waited until 10:00 AM. As I thought, no one showed up. I requested a cancellation and refund of the tour as a NO SHOW. Then I received a call from the tour company saying that they were on their way and I should wait until 10:45. They persistently contacted me asking me not to cancel because they were going now, but I refused. Still no refund. I think the electric bike tour itself is a good one, as the city has many hills. But be careful with this tour plan. I wasted almost 2 hours because of this exchange. Please be careful everyone!

What an unexpected surprise! We booked a last minute 1/2 day e-bike tour. Our guide was Emanuel. Great attitude, positive energy, knowledgeable, and concerned for our safety and enjoyment. His English was great, our French was poor! Saw multiple sights, learned a ton about Marseille, and the ride was easy and enjoyable, even on the big hill to Notre Dame Basilique. I, 57, Took two of my daughters, 18 and 23. Plenty of great photo opportunities. Worth every penny and would highly recommend. Thanks for the great time.

The big advantage of this trip, if you are on a cruise ship like us, is that they meet you at the port and take you the 15 minute drive to their base. Originally we booked and paid for the afternoon trip in English, but they contacted us a couple of days before to check if we could leave at 9.30am instead. In the end this turned out fine, but was a bit of a worry to begin with as we didn't dock until 9am. Emmanuel took us in his van to meet Cindy our guide. She was excellent, friendly, fun and considerate. We were joined by two other couples from the USA and Germany. We got clear instructions on operating the bikes plus helmets and water. The tour lasted 3 hours with about half of that actually cycling (around 17km) on a mixture of roads and cycle paths. Some of it was steep, but the electric bikes provided made it very easy. At the end Emmanuel was held up and couldn't bring us back to the ship immediately, so we just went for a coffee nearby for half an hour and waited. All in all a very enjoyable morning and we would definitely recommend it as a way of seeing the city.
