Arrived onboard Iona yesterday & saw the bus parked in port. We hadn’t enjoyed the trip in Las Palmas but as we had pre purchased tickets from P&O we decided to use them. All staff were nice & knowledgeable and we boarded at stop no1. When you arrive by ship, you never know which direction to walk in. But we sat on the bus for the whole hour & listened to a good quality interesting commentary all about Cadiz. Overall much better than the last experience. Afterwards we got off & wandered through all the narrow streets. And left on the ship at 5pm,sat on the balcony researching how to have a week in Cadiz as we were so impressed with the place👍😍

I enjoyed the audio with ear plugs provided. The price was really reasonable. The customer service people on the street were able to speak English and communicate very well. If you know Spanish it would be better.

This HOHO tour definitely gave a great overview of the city. Also important is that the audio equipment worked without fail both times we were on. The stops were at convenient locations for shopping and for the beach. Also appreciated was that the ticket included admission to the Basílica Cádiz.

For many years this type of thing, where available, is one of our first excursions. No matter what town or city it helps you fix landmarks and get an idea of the town size. This has the benefit of a no fuss two day ticket. Bought online and no problems getting on the bus near our hotel. Seconds and tickets issued - very efficient. Reasonable quality earphones. Good language choice and for English a very succinct commentary. Obviously cannot go into the old City but skirts it quite nicely. Recommended.

It was very well done. The sights were great and the taped explanation of the sights were clear, understandable, and informative.

The trip was very interesting within the Old Town It clearly stated on our receipt that entrance to the Cathedral was included A rude guide followed me into the entrance and snatched my receipt out of my hand and told me to follow her She snatched the receipt from another lady to show me the difference Extremely rude and aggressive tour guide Very disappointed we did not get to visit the Cathedral

Interesting tour that was very busy. Inevitably some minor issues with the audio connection and there was only a limited commentary on the whole tour. We have been on many in a host of different cities. Some give a very detailed and informative commentary and others give very little. This tour fell into the latter category. An overlong stop by the cruise terminal which was unwarranted. However, if you have limited time on a hot day it is the way to get a good taste of what Cadiz has to offer.

We had a great trip. Very comprehensive and informative. Great way to experience Cadiz. The weather was fantastic! The sights were amazing. We very much enjoyed the experience

Tree branches on 2nd level can hurt when they hit you. Thank goodness I had glasses on to protect my eyes. Once aware of the situation I ducted out of the way and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Cadiz is rich with history and the audio on the bus was done very well.

It took us to or very close to all the places we wanted to see. Driver was friendly and courteous. Tickets for two days works very well.

We paid €75 for a two day pass. On the first day the buses were fairly regular and there were several en route (probably on account of the cruise ship that was in). On the second, there was one (yes one!) bus en route. It takes more than 60 minutes to do a loop!!! We have two small children and an elderly relative and ended up having to pay €5 for a public bus. Honestly save yourself the money. We’re heading to the kiosk for a partial (if not full) refund now.

We picked up the bus outside the port gates as we were on a cruise. It was a very hot day so sat on lower part of bus, which restricts your view, as the upper deck did not have any shade from the sun. The bus trip is only about 40 minutes in duration goes up one way and returns the same way. They say it includes trip to Cathedral so we ventured off the bus and then had to wait at least 20 minutes outside the Cathedral to enter with other Hop On Hop Off travellers. When we left the Cathedral we just missed the bus and that would have entailed a 30 min wait so we caught the local No 2 bus. If you are visiting Cadiz on a cruise ship just exit through the gates and pick up the local No 2 bus which covers exactly the same route for Euros 1.10 per person and is airconditioned!

It´s a decent bus trip, all in all. The route is a tad repetitive as half the route is covered twice. The information provided was not bad. Plenty of small additional perks are included in the ticket such as little leather freebees as well as a walking tour and cathedral access.

We have taken the hop on off bus in many cities and found this to be not just the most expensive but least worth while. Firstly I’ve just learned that our tickets included cathedral entrance. We were not advised of this. We were told the tour was 1hr 10 minutes long. It was not. I hate to say it because local business snd revenue is so important but this just felt like a complete waste of 50 euros. We could walk very quickly to everything and between everything. I’ve just also read today that we could have gotten discount in Lisbon the next day for using the same company. The communication was very poor. Cadiz is a beautiful place and we were there during carnival which made it even more so.

Five middle-aged friends took the tour after arriving at the cruise terminal on the Iona, and quite enjoyed it as it was quite a good way to see the city from an elevated viewpoint. The bus departed from right outside the cruise terminal, so very easy to find. The ticket also included entrance to the cathedral including the tower, so not bad value at all. One point however was that we took the same company’s buses next day in Lisbon and we found out when we paid in Lisbon, that if we had kept our tickets from Cadiz we would have gotten money off in Lisbon – a point the staff in Cadiz omitted to tell us.
