Seville Cathedral boasts a fascinating history, but identifying its iconic features and fully appreciating their significance can be difficult on a self-led tour. Forget the guidebook with illuminating insights provided by a professional guide, and learn more about the former mosque’s legacy, while avoiding queues with skip-the-line entrance. Benefit from a small-group tour and enjoy personal interaction, and take in striking views from the viewing platform of the Giralda Tower.
What to Expect

Begin your tour in the Plaza del Triunfo. Meet your guide and make your way to the Seville Cathedral, with a brief tour of the building’s exterior before skipping the queue and heading inside. Listen as your guide describes the site’s extensive history, and admire the Gothic altarpiece, domed ceiling and long nave, before visiting Christopher Columbus’ most recent resting place.

Next, ascend the Giralda Tower, a former minaret under Moorish rule, and notice other city landmarks from the bell tower’s viewing platform, as your guide shares further insights. Conclude your tour back on street level, and continue your exploration of the city with new understanding of its history and cultural influences.

Great, informative tour

We originally booked this tour for last Friday, but couldn't find the group - if you aren't super familiar with the area, make sure to go find the spot the day before so you are sure of where to go. We missed the tour, but...More

Poor English and weak storyline

We participated in this tour of the Cathedral. The guide was very friendly, but her English was not very good and they don't use microphones and earplugs, so it is very difficult to hear what is being said. The guide "jumped" from one topic to...More

The tower has a great view of the city. Interesting histoical info cubbies to see on the way up the 40? flights. The cathedral is very grand, but not the most beautiful I've seen. I liked the interior of the Iglesia Colegial Divino Salvador better....More

Ask for Miguel

Apparently it was our guide (Miguel)’s first tour but you wouldn’t have guessed! Deep knowledge of the cathedral and the city as a whole. Interesting trivia for tourists. Ps: tickets are not included

Absolut inkompetente organisation

All of all it was 60 eiros for two people and not worth. Abzocke! We had to wait over 45 minutes freezing on the meeting point. There were 3 guides there and no one were giving us some explanation about the delay of the tour....More

Lars, Pancho Tours gives you the possibility to skip the longest customer line. For the start hour (3.15pm), in the days of biggest affluence (Christmas and holiday season), we can't be responsible for the monument security procedures or the MAXIMUM CAPACITY inside Cathedral that affects...More
