Three Countries in One Day: France, Andorra and Spain from Barcelona
US$153.52
Overview
Visit Andorra, France, and Spain in a single day on a tour from Barcelona that takes in historic architecture, gorgeous mountain landscapes, and three distinctive cultures. If your time is limited, choosing a guided tour ensures you’ll see more than you would on your own, from breakfast in France to lunch in a traditional Andorran restaurant (own expense), with a series of fascinating sightseeing stops throughout the day.
What to Expect
Meet a guide in central Barcelona, then travel to the Spanish village of Baga, where you’ll have views of the rocky peaks in Cadi-Moixero National Park. Tour the village’s square and medieval church, then cross the border into France for a classic French breakfast of croissants and café au lait in the walled city of Mont-Louis.

Visit the UNESCO-listed 17th-century citadel and set out across the Pyrenees to the country of Andorra, where you’ll see Romanesque churches and stone houses in the old quarter of Andorra la Vella, Andorra's capital. After lunch in an Andorran restaurant (own expense), shop for wine and souvenirs in tax-free shops, hike mountain trails, or tour the Romanesque church of St. Miquel d’Engolasters.

Begin the return to Barcelona in late afternoon, pausing for a drink in Coll de Nargo along the way and finishing the day at a central location in Barcelona.

The trip was well organized with a helpful guide and driver. Andorra itself is a fantastic setting, although the city stop was primarily about shopping. The visit to Ax les Thermes was very pleasant and offered a nice way to get lunch. They also threw...More

The day started normally,, but then our bus broke down 20 minutes into the drive. Then we stood in the street while our guide argued with someone not in our group. Then we walked to a cafe and our guide offered coffee and croissants to...More

3 Countries in One Day - Beware of a Long Day

Because we wanted to visit Andorra as a country, we joined the 3 Countries in One Day Tour. I found Explore Catalunya on Viator and booked directly with them on their website. The tour required prepayment and it was 129 euros per person. The website...More

It is more of a shopping destination. I wouldn't spend a night here unless it is on your way to another site. The border did stamp our passports with the large word "Andorra". It was pretty mountain scenery and we don't... More
