An interesting tour with spectacular views
The tour guide revealed many interesting facts about the place. Also, he was very friendly and answered all the questions with pleasure. I highly recommend you to visit the monastery, if you stay in Barcelona.

So worth the trip! Beautiful views, wonderful food (and wine), we bought the guided tour with the cable car ride as well as lunch and loved it. Mateo was our favorite - friendly, informative, accommodating, funny!

    Amazon and worth it
Katia organized a fantastic tour with a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and cultural experiences. Her attention to detail, clear communication, and personalized touch made everything seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend her. And of course, the most amazing part of it was the helicopter ride. Thank you!

Just book it! You will love it!
My birthday present to myself was to go horseback riding for the very first time, and I have to say it was phenomenal! It doesn’t matter if you go with a group, as a couple or by yourself, you will truly have an amazing time. Our group had Chris as a tour guide and he was wonderful. I recommend booking this experience, it was well worth it!

    Monserrat is a must see!
We thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent Monserrat, and our tour guide Han was friendly, funny and informative. We opted for the hike tour (recommend a sweater and make sure you’re wearing shoes with a gripping sole as some parts are steep and it’s a bit cooler up in the mountains than in Barcelona.)

    Amazing Helicopter experience with Bosco
Our excursion started with a walking tour with the very knowledgeable Bosco. Then we moved on to the helicopter tour which was beautiful to see the skyline of Barcelona.

    Nice half day trip
This is a great thing to do for a day away from Barcelona. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and the setting could not be more beautiful. We also recommend the cable car ride on this tour. We took 1 star off because we did not like the lunch but others on the tour did so it is likely a matter of taste. We also arrived right at mass so we were not able to see the Madonna. Also take the time to try and buy some cheeses from the vendors.

Learned more details about the gothic quarter. The tour guide was kind and knowledgeable. The ferry ride was disappointing and not the “sailing” ride I was looking forward to

Carlos was a great guide! He was friendly and made the day go by so quickly. He was a wealth of knowledge and able to tell us about each stop. He provided us with recommendations for our free time. I liked that each place started with tours/education followed by free time (~30-60min depending on the stop). Highly recommend not getting the add on lunch because you spend the entire lunch hour at the restaurant and can’t do any exploring. I was able to see one of the museums in the Jewish quarter, walk around, and eat all while that group was stuck at the restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

As a first timer i would recommend this trip to anyone who is interested in a bit of nature and beautiful natural spots away from the city life, as it gives you a taste of three different spots in one day. Our guide Bosco was amazing and quite entertaining as well. He managed the trip quite well in terms of managing 16 people and timing the spots wrt to entry and exit so that each place gets good amount of time. Though the time was enough but due to the spots being so beautiful you may crave to spend some more time especially in Montserrat and Tossa de maar. Not to forget that our driver Ruben did a good job as well of transporting us safely from across points and back to Barcelona.

This tour was incredibly In depth and covered such a broad range of places. The information that has been gathered for every piece of this tour. Our tour guide, Jose Carlos was an incredibly enthusiastic and impressively patient guide. He greeted all of us with smiles and was always incredibly courteous as well. Jose also took the time to get to know everyone in the group on top of providing mountains of information at each stop and during the walks between. This was an absolutely amazing tour, definitely one of the most cost worthy and broad tours I’ve ever been on and it was worth every penny.

Bosco was our guide and did a great job given the circumstances. They overbooked our group (34 tourists), and didn't have an appropriate sized bus, so we left almost 90 min late.
The drive time to Montserrat is 45 min, and we arrived right as mass started, so we weren't able to go in right away. We got about 30 min of free time, then barely got to see inside montestary because the boys choir was about to sing which limited access.
2 hour bus ride to Girona got us there at 3, with limited restaurants open. My friend ans I ran off to get Xioxo crema pastries and rushed back to eat during our 1 hour free time.
Bosco walked us through town and showed is some Game of Thrones scenes. Unfortunately the cathedral and church closed right as we approached, and we left at 445.
We went to Lloret de Mar just in time to run up the hill (literally) and catch sunset views, then rush back to the bus.

I would never recommend this whole tour to anyone. Do Montserrat separately and enjoy Girona and Lloret on your own.

The tour of the three cities was full of great sites and experiences. Monserrat was beautiful and breathtaking. The monastery and Maré de Montserrat was gorgeous. Free time was not really enough to go and appreciate some of the views. But we loved sampling the cheeses and honey at the little pop up market on our way back to the tour us. Find Christina and she will treat you right. Girona was very beautiful as well. Be prepared for some hills and old cobblestone roads. Comfortable shoes are a must. One of the things that disappointed us was our tour guide didn’t know where a lot of the scenes from Game of Thrones actually were in the city. But we did some quick searches and were able to find a few of them ourselves. Lots of free time for lunch and walking around, but be careful because it goes quick. Finally our stop in Costa Brava was so well worth it. We traveled in the beginning of November and this town was not busy at all. The castle/fort had amazing views of the Ocean and we were just able to see the sunset as it got dark. Even at night, the castle all lit up was really nice to see as we enjoyed drinks and made friends by the ocean.
PROS: Great sample of what these towns have to offer. You have enough to see some amazing things in the time allotted.
CONS: lots of walking and hills so be prepared. Also they split the tour up into 1 groups which felt like I was back in school. Some friends we made at the beginning of the tour were of course in the other group. We didn’t care for one of our tour guides so we switched groups and Richard was fantastic!

Overall I would do this tour again especially knowing what to expect, but maybe during the summer to experience more of what Costa Brava had to offer.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback on your tour of the three cities. It's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful and breathtaking sights in Monserrat and the lovely experiences at the monastery and Maré de Montserrat. It sounds like you had a great time sampling the local cheeses and honey at the pop-up market as well. Your advice about comfortable shoes for the hilly and cobblestone paths in Girona is very helpful for future travelers. It's unfortunate to hear that your tour guide was not well-versed in the Game of Thrones filming locations in the city. However, I'm glad to hear that you were able to navigate and discover some of these spots independently. Additionally, your experience in Costa Brava, especially at the castle with its stunning views and the opportunity to enjoy the sunset and drinks by the ocean, sounds delightful. Your insights into the pros and cons of the tour, including the walking involved and the group arrangements, are valuable for other travelers considering a similar tour. It's fantastic that you were able to switch groups and have a more enjoyable experience with a different guide. Your overall positive sentiment about the tour and your willingness to experience it again, perhaps during the summer for a different perspective, is encouraging. I hope your future travels continue to be as fulfilling and enjoyable as this one. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out.

The trip was amazing! I Recommend it to everyone coming for the first time in Barcelona or whereabouts. Both the driver and the tour guide are great and punctual people being at indicated place in time. Richard was our tour guide and he's a great guide, with a lot of knowledge about Cataluña, España and history in general, eager to share tales, fun or interesting facts from many areas, and with a really professional attitude, always making sure that no one is left behind, that everyone understands what is being explained and also a really nice guy helping everyone with photos, keeping things safe and mostly making sure everyone has an unforgettable trip. The trip consisted in Montserrat, we had a guided tour for an hour and learned a lot, enjoyed some breathtaking views and had an hour of free time to just wonder on our own, we used half of our free time for a quick and pleasant hike guided by Richard, after which we had enough time left to quicky visit the Montserrat art museum where we had the chance to see some great pieces from Caravaggio, Dali, Picasso, Degas and many others. We then continued to the city of Girona which has an incredible history, beautiful views (some were even locations where GoT was filmed) from the older city, which used to be a fortress even before the marvellous cathedral was built. Finally we headed to Costa Brava and reached Tossa de Mar which is a beautiful and quiet fisher town along the coast of the Mediterranean sea. Our tour was a bit shorter here but we still were able to learn some local history, movie knowledge and see some amazing places plus we can't complain as we had more time to enjoy the sea in the rest of our free time (no photos from there though as the weather was too good to waste any time). I'm really glad we booked this trip and we'd do any tour, anytime with such a nice crew! 10/10

My husband and I went on this trip on November 23, 2023. Overall it was an amazing trip. We felt like there was the perfect balance of guide and free time to explore each city. During your free time you have the option to get food, shop, or explore. All three of the towns we went to felt very safe so we were able to explore each one for more that’s an hour each after the tour guide showed us some things. Our group was on the larger size, with 24 people, and the tour was done in Spanish and English. Our guide Isabella did a great job speaking loudly for everyone to hear, and giving good explanations of the things she showed us. The bus was very comfortable and we were able to take a siesta during one of the drives. Highly recommend!

Bosco was an amazing tour guide! He was very entertaining and informative, showed us a lot of places with a good pace. He’s very patient, friendly and helps you out with pictures too. Everything we saw today was nice, the weather was good, the pace of the tour was perfect - we visited three different places today, this tour is so worth it!

Also the bus driver today was so professional - his maneuvering abilities down the small winding mountain road was really incredible. He even got out of the bus to redirect traffic when the bus ahead of us got stuck with incoming traffic because the turns were very cramped.

Edward the tour in December requires good clothes, hats and gloves as the wind whips up in Montserrat! Also lots of steps and slopes so if you have a condition heads up!
Other than giving a warning on the web it was great. Robert(o) was very informative, knowledgeable and prepared. Would limit the time in the first two destinations to make sunset at the coast as we missed it by 15 mins.

Just finished this tour. It’s a taste of the 3 locations. Really enjoyed it. Bosco
was our tour guide and was very informative and helpful. I did not like that the museum in the Jewish quarter of Gerona was closed since it was Sunday. At Monserrat some tourists came in with tickets for the liquor tasting and a sample of Coqo bread. That was not part of our tour but I would have liked it to be. I paid separately for the tasting, but the only way to get to try the delicious bread was to buy a huge loaf, which we did, and ate the whole thing! I also wish we had a bigger taste of Costa Bravo. I would have liked to have had more time in the shops there. I would even go back there for a separate trip. Our time in Barcelona is limited. Taking this tour helped to get to see places we wouldn’t have been able to see based on the amount of time we had in Barcelona. As for the many comments about the meeting place, it was changed last night and we were told at first to only take public transportation because of some streets closing. After calling, and having them check street closures, they said we could take a cab. As seniors in a strange country I did not want to take public transport, not knowing where we were going. The first cab driver refused to take us to the location and was confused. The second one took us. Everyone got there in time. Glad we went on this tour.
