      Best tour experience
We did 3 days of tours with Girona experience - the trip to Cadaques and the monastery as well as the guided walking tour of Girona, both with Jordi, and a day trip to the Dali museum with Miguel. I have never had tours with such knowledgable guides. Both young men were clearly enthusiastic about the history of Catalonia. Very small groups (2-4 of us each day). I asked to change one tour very last minute due to weather (the evening before), and was accommodated - service way above what I expected.

      Amazing history
Our guide Miguel is one of the most knowledgeable guides we have been with in Spain, mostly because we have based our visits to Jewish history in different parts of Spain and Girona has a big part of this history. Everything went very good, we also chose a time of the year and week to appreciate more the city since there was not to many people. The company we chose is completely recomendable.

Good Introduction To The Jewish History Of Girona…..
During our 4 day stay in Barcelona, my wife and I decided to make a side trip to Girona so we could see the Old Town and remnants of their Jewish community. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: - Our guide, Ona, walked us through the Medieval Old Town of Girona with an emphasis on items of Jewish interest. She offered lots of anecdotes and stories about various historical people and places along the way. - The most time…1 out of the 3 hour tour…was spent at the Jewish Museum which was certainly worth the visit. - Ona was friendly so we were also able to get to know her on a personal level. Our train got a late start (30 minutes) so I reached her by phone and made simple arrangements to meet. - Cost of the tour was very reasonable…$98 for 2 people. Cons: - Girona is about 40 miles northeast of Barcelona using the high speed train. That might not be a con. In fact, I like trains. But the train station in Barcelona is huge and a zoo. - While Ona was full of information, her accent was quite strong which made understanding her words a bit difficult when she spoke more quickly at times. All in all, it was a worthwhile tour and one we will not forget.

      GOT Tour with celebrity guide
This tour is worth every penny. The tour guide was a local and very knowledgable. He showed us around streets of Girona, talked about it’s history and how it has evolved over time. Our tour guide also worked in GOT series which was amazing. He described his experience working with HBO team and other stories from that series. Overall very satisfied with this tour

      Excellent
Jordi is a knowledgeable tour guide, he kept a good pace and paid attention to our small group. This was our first Viator experience and we hope that all tour guides are equally qualified and excited to engage with the tourists.

Wonderful tour of the Jewish Quarter
This past week, my wife and I enjoyed an excellent tour of the Girona Jewish Quarter. Our guide, Mike (or Miguel) is extremely knowledgeable about both the general history and the medieval Jewish history of the area. The Old City of Girona is beautiful and atmospheric; it was used to film scenes from Game of Thrones. And the still evident signs of medieval Jewish life in the area is absolutely fascinating. In short, this is a highly worthwhile and enjoyable tour.

      Very fresh and interesting tour.
We truly enjoyed the tour of Girona with our guide. She lives there and was very familiar with many of the customs and history of what had taken place and what she had experienced. It was very lengthy and enjoyable, and we got to see the key points of the city. She also gave us tips on things to do and see in our own time. I would recommend it to most anyone.

      Wonderful time hitting the Highlights
We were fortunate to come during a slow period and we were the only ones on the tour. Gave us lots time to ask questions and learn about the culture of Girona, not just the 3 places we visited. Ona was our tour guide and wow is she a smart individual and a great representative for the tour agency and Girona. She knew so much about the history and the present day that my very intelligent wife was able to have long conversations about all aspects of life and culture in Girona and the US. The cathedral was beautiful and full of cool historical objects dating back to the 11th century. The Arab baths were nice and Saint Feliu Basilica had some interesting history but this high rating was for the Cathedral, the history of Girona, and Ona, our guide. Ona also directed us to the best part of the ancient wall to walk and had plenty of food recommendations for us. She went above and beyond to make our visit to Girona the best it could be. I recommend this tour for anyone visiting Girona.

Terrific tour that dove deep into "Game of Thrones" production as well as local history
Jordi our tour guide spoke excellent English and shared with our small group details of local history and architecture and a few current details about things and also showed us several sites used in the making of "Game of Thrones," with full details about the storylines, behind-the-scenes production and even clips and images from the episodes in question. Very informative and illuminating. He also took time to answer questions and even did real-time research if he did not know the answers.

Such a lovely tour! 5 stars!
Anna was an exceptional guide! Her English is excellent, and it’s inspiring to see such a young woman with so much knowledge and passion for her city. She brought Girona’s fascinating legends and history to life, sharing unique stories you wouldn’t hear otherwise. Anna’s enthusiasm for her city is contagious, and she makes every stop along the way feel special. I highly recommend her tour for anyone wanting an in-depth, engaging experience in Girona!

      Great tour in great city!
I had an unforgettable experience with Mike as my guide! His English is flawless, making everything easy to follow, and you can genuinely feel the passion he has for his city and Game of Thrones. As someone who was actually part of the filming as an extra, he adds an incredible layer of insight to the tour, even taking you to the exact spots where iconic scenes were filmed. Mike is funny, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the entire experience both entertaining and informative. I HIGHLY recommend him—don’t miss this chance if you’re a GOT fan or just want an amazing city tour!

Good, But Could Have Been More
There was a small group with the guide, a young woman who has obviously studied the subject. The tour was lovely and informative, but I also thought that Ona wasn't always on topic. She'd just chat for periods of time. I'm not sure if there just wasn't enough to fill the 3 hours, or if she was perhaps bored of leading this tour. Despite that, she did show us interesting points about the Jewish Quarter, The Call, and amplified what we could learn at the museum. I wish there had been a bit more about the colorful houses along the river, the history of the city itself, and the Eiffel Bridge that was unfortunately covered with a sports team's banners while we were there. I'm seeing online that there are eleven bridges in Girona. She didn't speak of this at all. And I didn't learn that the bridge we saw was the Eiffel Bridge from her, but rather from another tourist. The tour was enjoyable and informative, but could have been more.

      Highly recommend
Ona is a very knowledgeable and personable guide. The tour was very informative and conducted in a casual manner with lots of tips on what to do and see in the region. A stark contrast to all the other huge group tours that were starting in the same place.

We had an amazing day touring Costa Brava with Eduardo and Alex. We enjoyed strolling along the beautiful seaside towns in the morning, had a wonderful lunch of Arroz a La Cassola at a local restaurant, and then a lovely tour through some medieval towns in the afternoon. Eduardo was such a fun and informative tour guide. We also appreciated Alex’s skilled driving and cheerful assistance. We enjoyed the small size of the group tours offered through Girona Experiences very much.

Julia was an excellent guide! She was very knowledgeable of the history and culture of the region and explained everything in interesting and humorous ways. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery as we walked along the coast and she took us to the most amazing local restaurant where we ate the most delicious local cuisine!

Mike was an amazing tour guide. He had a wealth of information to give as far as detailed history of all the towns we visited but also the history about local customs and even information about Spain in general. He was very attentive for the entire day and gave an excellent quality tour from beginning to end. I would highly recommend Mike as a tour guide and Carme, our driver, was awesome too.

This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip! Àlvar was an excellent tour guide and showed us some amazing places. The tour was fun, informative, and so beautiful. I loved the walk between the two villages in Costa Brava. Our lunch was fabulous traditional food at a restaurant in one of the villages. All the old villages we saw were amazing. The pace of the tour was relaxed and easy. Alex, our driver, was also fabulous! We had such a good day! We did not want it to end! I highly recommend Girona Experience!

We visited Girona for a day visit fro Lloret De Mar. We were a group of five. It is the mos beautiful little place with lots of history and game of Throne Locations. Great for walking and eating ice cream and local delicacies. We also had a walking tour with Cristian, from Macclesfield . He was just amazing and gave a great tour two hours long and showed us some beautiful places and lots of Game Of throne locations. We would definitely come back here next time.

Such an incredible day! Each town was wonderful, made better by the tour guide Julia. She was so engaging from start to finish, and we learned so much from her. It's incredible that she has only been giving tours for less than a year because she seemed like an expert in many topics. She is also a wonderful photographer! Alex was a great and courteous driver.
Calella is such a beautiful beach town, and we loved seeing the ancient settlement and the more modern history. Begur was such a unique city with Caribbean influenced architecture. After that, we had lunch a great restaurant with local cuisine. Next, we visited two medieval towns Pals and Peratallada. Overall, a wonderful day full of both history and amazing views!

Mike, our guide was wonderful and very passionate in telling the stories of these villages. He treated everyone like they were VIPs and went out of his way to accommodate everyone’s questions. He is bilingual and gave the tour in Spanish and English without missing a beat. The tour was amazing. From the beach to the castles it was wonderful. I highly recommend it and would take it again!

We are visiting the Costa Brava without a car. After visiting Girona we made 2-night reservation in Begur. Instead of taking taxi we decided to join the Girona Experience tour that includes Begur. Understanding our situation Alex and Eduardo adjusted the tour route and picked us up from our hotel in Girona and after a day of touring beautiful towns of Costa Brava they dropped us at our hotel in Begur. They didn’t need to do this but they did! It shows how much they care that they want everyone to have a great time touring the area without or with minimal concerns. They took time, never hurried but with just perfect cadence to explain the history, legends and the beauty of the Costa Brava. We highly recommend Alex & Eduardo, a dynamic duo! Thank you!

Hi couple! it has been a pleasure to have you here in Girona these days with us and to be able to show you our area and all the interesting things that our small province has to offer. we are very happy that you have enjoyed so much and we hope you will come back soon! We are a very small agency but that does not mean that we do not take care of our clients as if they were a precious treasure. That is our philosophy and this is how we try to do it day after day. We wish you all the best and a big hug from all of us. Alex, Eduardo and Carme ❤️❤️❤️

This was such a great tour! Our tourguide (Pete) was so knowledgable about everything and had what seemed to be an endless amount of information and fun facts and anecdotes. We saw some of the most breath taking places including beautiful costal villages as well as fascinating and well-preserved medieval villages. I can’t recommend this enough!
