Overview
Madrid is known for its tapas culture, but knowing the best spots to indulge can be difficult. After a busy day’s sightseeing, relax under the guidance of a local and visit a number of bars in the Old Town to sample specialties, including black-hoofed ham and chorizo-stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy included vermouth, wine, and sangria, and chat with your guide to receive personalized recommendations as well as insight into the city’s extensive history.
What to Expect

Meet your guide on the Plaza de la Villa in central Madrid. Head to a nearby bar and try the local delicacy of black-hoofed ham, washed down with a glass of vermouth.

Immerse yourself in the ambiance of Madrid’s nightlife before making your way to your next location. Notice city landmarks and listen as your guide shares insights on Madrid’s history, before arriving at an acclaimed bar for a sampling of sangria and chorizo-stuffed mushrooms.

Next, stroll past the site where Madrid, originally called Mayrit, was supposedly founded in the ninth century. Then, visit an authentic tavern for a taste of their fine wines and garlic shrimp.

Wander to your final location, a hip restaurant run by a renowned chef, and dine on shared platters of meats and salads, followed by dessert. Toast to your evening with a final beer or wine, before bidding your guide farewell on the Puerta del Sol.
