    Worth every cent!
The ticket got us entry to every part and was worth every cent! It was a fabulous tour and we couldn’t have been happier. Only critique is that there was no address on the ticket and being a tourist just meant that I had to have access to the internet to look it up. Minor but would have been easier to have it on there.

Bummed in Florence with ticket cancellation
Tickets for this tour were purchased in June 2024 through the Trip Advisor app with Viator as the provider and Weekend in Italy as the local tour company for an Oct 3 visit. We were so excited to see the David in Florence & planned for this event celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary far in advance. I contacted the local tour operator a couple months ahead of our trip to ask about voucher redemption and was told to check for an email a couple days prior to our tour date for a timed entry voucher. When I did not receive a message by Oct 1, I contacted the local company again but received an email on Oct 2 & the day before our tour the local company cancelling our reservation stating they were unable to provide us our tickets due to high demand. We were unable to obtain substitute tickets from the museum site or other vendors for any of our remaining days in Florence as this attraction sells out far in advance. We were so disappointed that Trip Advisor contracts with this shoddy operator and know now to book tickets on the local attraction sites and not through Trip Advisor & Viator. We were refunded our ticket fee but we would have much preferred to visit the Gallery & the David statue as we even booked our accommodation just down the street from the museum for easy access. We had no other problems with our other Trip Advisor bookings for this trip, but this was such a monumental disappointment as we are both in our 60’s & will likely not be able to visit Florence again. Bummed.

Took my money and didn’t deliver

Not worth of money and time
I went at 9:15am 9-15-24. Not crowded at all. Only few visitors were there. You do not need a skip-the-line ticket. You can go and get a ticket and enter. That is much cheaper. I felt I rather waisted money. I also learned after I bought a ticket that Leonard’s Virtuviral man has not been exhibited for a while. I was really disappointed. .

    Fabulous gallery!
This is an outstanding collection of art housed in a magnificent palazzo! There are knowledgeable art historians in every room to answer questions about the paintings, sculptures and the rooms. Wonderful views across Rome from the beautiful gardens. We were fortunate to be able to buy tickets at the door, because Viator failed to timely deliver tickets to us which we purchased more than a month prior to our trip. Viator did not tell us they had not purchased tickets for our scheduled day until the day before our entry. Do not buy a voucher from Viatar to see this gallery--you are better off going by the gallery and making the purchase yourself.

Terrible local tour provider and messy communication with Tripadvisor
First of all, I never received actual tickets by email, I had only original voucher from Tripadvisor/Viator. Just a day before this tour was planned, I got a message from a local tour operator (Maria) that this tour is cancelled due to their inability to get an access to Montreale on that day. This message was sent to the internal Viator mailbox and I got it just by accident. The message recommended to contact Tripadvisor immediately to request a full refund. When I tried to this online, even though the tour was cancelled by the provider, the text on the screen warned that if I push cancel, no refund will be issued. I called local provider (Palermo) and he again said I have to contact Tripadvisor as they have my money and they should refund to my credit card. I asked him if they will inform Tripadvisor about this situation themselves, but his answer was confusing. Now, I really do not know how to contact the Tripadvisor/Viator help desk to resolve this issue. Please, send me an explanation on my next steps using my email address from my account and message on my Iphone.

    A little-known Roman jewel
We have visited Rome many times but only learned of this amazing family-owned (and still family-inhabited) palace on this trip. It is an incredibly beautiful place filled with gorgeous treasures. Our guide, Rossella, led our group of two couples along with about ten others throughout the palace and both entertained us and filled us with knowledge and family history on the two hour English tour. This is a unique site which contains artwork and treasures not found anywhere else in Rome. We saw works by major and minor artists which spanned history from Ancient Rome to the twentieth century, including family photographs of the current prince and his parents and grandparents. The professionalism of the public-facing staff, the care and respect for the palace and its beautiful gardens with its views of the city reflect the love of both the family and the staff for this incredible jewel of Rome.

    Good museum
Good history on the Murano glass making with lots of examples of historical pieces. Only takes about an hour or so to visit the museum. Well worth the 10euros.

    Medici Chapel
Of course the Medici Chapel was amazing. Word of warning. I reserved skip-the-line tickets about 6 weeks before going to Florence. Trip Advisor reported that my tickets were confirmed but that I wouldn't receive the tickets until 2 days before the date to see the site. Then 2 days before, I was notified that due to scheduling issues, I wouldn't get my tickets!! Blew my travel schedule. But.... I went over to the Medici Chapel and bought tickets and got right in!!! There were few people in the line. If you find yourself in this situation of not getting the actual tickets, don't count on it and chances are that you can buy tickets on site.

    Skip this one
Don’t waste your time reserving your tickets here. Ours got cancelled the day before we were supposed to visit the museum. We went to the museum anyway and purchased tickets there and walked right in. The museum itself is very interesting. Btw we did get a refund from Viator, which we appreciated.

    Super interesting
Great to walk straight in and bypass the ticket queue, this is such an interesting monument. Fits really well with doing a Vatican/Sistine/St Peter’s Basilica tour in the morning then grab lunch and sit down for a well needed break and do this later, as it’s quite nearby.

    Great Museum!
The huge statues were definitely impressive. I went primarily to see the artifacts from Pompeii and was not disappointed. So many amazing items from over a thousand years ago. Would love to have had more time to spend there.

Don’t give this company any of your money you won’t get the valid tickets or a refund.
I purchased two tickets in June they informed me less than 2 days before my visit in September that they were not available and to buy them on site. They would give a full refund. I have not received the refund, they have not responded to my many emails. Don’t give this company any of your money. If I could give a minus score I would.

The Palace sits at the entrance of the harbour with commanding views over the ocean and mount versuvius . Since my last visit in 1980s it has been considerably restored. All the apartments now have descriptions in English .At the moment the Queens charming balcony garden is being completed with tinkling fountains and her outside garden is a lovely place to enjoy a coffee with the sound of Opera the Queen enjoyed. Queen Maria Carolina was sister to the tragic Marie Antoinette of France.
I would certainly recommend a visit . The sumptuous state staircase ,the baroque royal theatre and extravagant throne are the highlights .

The palace doesnt look like a pslace from outside but its spectacular inside!
We went around 5pm and were almost alone there!
Ceilings took our breaths away! Each one is different and absolutely stunning.
During our 5 weeks trip around Europe we have seen a number of castles and palaces and we still were impressed.
Very worth seeing.
A little hard to find the entrance due to renovations, could be better sign- posted. Otherwise - great! Tx

Very beautiful palace, which deserves a long visit, the staircase is monumental, especially on a sunny day. Young girls come to be photographed in their beautiful clothes under a ray of sunshine. The rooms are baroque and richly decorated. That's wonderful.

This place is a must see while in Naples. It is the Piazza Plebicito and next to the Teatro San Carlos. The grand staircase alone is worth the price of admission. But all of the rooms are stunning, especially the throne room and king’s chapel. For those who appreciate music, both Scarlattis were choirmasters at that chapel. And it features an enormous presepi (or manger scene). While each room has an overview of the room posted on a stand in English and Italian, get the audio guide for the full experience. There was no line the day we went.

I understand that it is not normally free but the week of 8th March 2019 museum's were not charging so that was a result. Does not look that spectacular from the outside but inside was a real wow. Room after room it was quite stunning as hopefully my photos demonstrate.

Okay, just want to say that this is a review of the benefits (or otherwise) of buying the ticket from this agency via TripAdvisor.

The palace was great, a gem, you should go, you'll enjoy it. The disappointment here was in the process of getting a skip the line, guided tour ticket.

First of all, the ticket was supposed to be emailed to me. It wasn't. I just kept getting messages saying 'this isn't your ticket, you'll get it emailed to you later'. I found the ticket, eventually, after the event via an obscure link in my TripAdvisor mail in my account on here but not in my email. In the meantime, the entrance at the palace wouldn't accept the 'voucher' so l had to buy another ticket at the door. (The FAQ on here confusingly says they both will and won’t accept the voucher).

There was supposed to be a guided tour, as well. No information was sent about that, either. So I never found a guide outside, no one was collecting a party of expectant guests at the entrance.

There was no line to skip at the entrance. It's popular but not that busy. It's easiest to buy on the day at the door.

There was a phone number to contact in case of difficulty but no one answered.

So no tickets and no guide on the day. Not quite sure what I got by buying a ticket from these people. I did mail them afterwards and ask for a refund. I even gave them a week to respond but... nothing. I invite you to draw your own conclusions.

But the palace was great. Worth a visit. Just buy on the door and hire the audio headset for six euros.

good morning, we remind you that you have purchased, and received, a ticket for an independent visit, not a tour: therefore no guide was waiting for you at the entrance. The message you received indicates that this is not the voucher to enter the museum but that it would have been sent to you later, as it happened. We are sorry we did not receive your call, we answer many calls every day and unfortunately yours did not find an immediately free operator. We are glad that the palace was to your taste

Beautiful Palace, not to be missed. It is well worth visiting this Palace. The visit runs in one direction, so it makes it easy to navigate this big building. Get some rest in the Royal Theatre.

Palace was beautiful, must visit. Only it is better to buy tickets on the spot. Cheaper (11€) and no crowds. Don't get it why tickets cost here on the app.
