Priority First Early Entrance: Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums Ticket
From US$65.02
Overview

Beat the crowds at the Sistine Chapel by entering the Vatican Museums complex an hour and 30 minutes before it opens to the public on this early access tour. Avoid the often hours-long lines and admire the Sistine Chapel in relative tranquility. Gaze upwards at Michelangelo's world-famous frescoes without bumping into other tourists. Plus, you'll be able to explore the rest of the Vatican independently once the tour concludes.

What to Expect

Your early morning experience of the Vatican begins outside of the landmark, where you’ll greet your guide and head straight inside a full hour and 30 minutes before it opens to the general public.

As you head to the Sistine Chapel, your guide provides some historical context. You'll then enjoy the space in a crowd-free environment, allowing you to gaze up at Michelangelo's world-famous frescoes without interruption. Admire Michelangelo’s iconic ceiling fresco, The Creation of Adam, and The Last Judgment, in a serene environment.

Once your time in the Sistine Chapel concludes, you’ll be free to continue exploring the Vatican Museum at your leisure. Among the highlights are the Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries and Raphael’s Rooms, plus classical statues, Etruscan artifacts, and plenty of Renaissance paintings.

Priority Early Entry The Vatican

This was a wonderful first exposure to the museums and to The Sistene Chapel. We had the opportunity to see the beautiful exhibits at a leisurely pace and were not tripping over other people. Highly recommend and will do this again for our next visit.

Couldn’t be better

Guys, I had initial buyers’ regret as there seemed to be many other skip-a-line tours later in the day. However, the crowds surged as the day passed and boy, we were so happy that we took this tour. We are certain that if weren’t for...More

if you are talking about the Vatican/St Peters no, if you take this tour, you can go directly into St Peters when it opens. You should always carry your passport though in case of accident or a police stop.
