Overview
This ticket is perfect for an independent sightseer who wants to visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel without a tour guide but would still like to avoid the long lines that form outside this famous site. When you arrive, you’ll be escorted through a special no-wait Vatican Partner entrance before being set free to spend as much of the day as you want exploring the famous collections.
Highlights
  • Exclusive skip-the-line tickets to the Vatican Museum
  • Save hours waiting in line with a priority admission ticket
  • Upgrade to a tour with guided visit to St Peter’s Basilica
  • Groups are limited to 20 people for intimate access
  • Plenty of time to explore the 15th-century Sistine Chapel
What to Expect
In Vatican City, get ready to pass by the crowds outside the museum with VIP admission tickets. You’ll bypass the beginning queues. Once inside, you’ll have lots of time to explore nine miles (14km) of art-filled galleries. Savor masterpieces in rooms like the Gallery of the Candelabra, which is lined with elegantly carved marble sculptures and candle-holders. You’ll also be free to wander at leisure through Raphael’s Rooms, four interconnecting galleries that are hung with paintings from the famous Renaissance master and his pupils. Enrich your knowledge of Italian geography in the Gallery of Maps, where you’ll find 16th-century plans of Italy. The best is saved for last. The final part of the museum complex is the blockbuster Sistine Chapel, which most people wait in line for hours to see. With special access to the museum, you’ll skip to the front of the crowds to see the legendary 15th-century chapel. With an optional upgrade, you can opt to explore the galleries with a guide.

Honestly, I am not sure; there are a lot of people. The access gets you in before the people lining up. I am not sure who you can ask. Sorry I can't help with your question.

Yes, because St. Peter's Basilica (and the square) are not part of the Vatican Museum nor the Sistine Chapel. You can enter the basilica for free before or after this tour, but the lines are usually very long.

There are two paths out of the sistine chapel. 1 leads to St. Peters free entry. The other back out to the Vatican pavilions areas.
