Small-Group Pompeii with Amalfi Coast Drive and Positano Stop from Rome
US$210.94
Overview
Pack two of Italy’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites—the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii—into one day on a tour that includes easy round-trip transport from Rome. Your guide knows the best ways to get around Italy and keep you safe when driving along the twisty, hard-to-navigate roads of the Amalfi Coast, leaving you free to focus on the scenery rather than the roads.
What to Expect
Your Pompeii and Amalfi Coast tour picks you up from central Rome. Hop aboard a climate-controlled vehicle, and get ready for the ride to your first stop of the day—Pompeii.

Once you get to the ancient Roman city, meet up with your guide and learn all about the history yourself as you follow your guide around the ancient ruins.

Afterward, your guide takes you down the roads of the Amalfi Coast on a beautiful vista drive. Your guide is an expert navigator, and heads down the roads easily even with the hairpin turns. Your group stops in Positano, where you can enjoy free time wandering the area. You can eat lunch while you’re there if you choose (own expense).

Your Pompeii and Amalfi Coast tour ends with a ride back to where you started the day in Rome.

Awesome day trip

Took this trip with our 10 and 12 yo sons. It was an awesome change from the insane crowds in Rome and we all had a great time. The down-time in Positano is nice as each group can spend the time as they see fit...More

Not to be missed!

This was an excellent trip—well planned out and very fun for all of us. I worried about booking this with our family: 2 grandparents ages 65, and our 13, 11 and 9 year old daughters because of the length of travel time, and the walking...More

We only had a few nights in Rome, but Pompeii had always been on my list of places to visit. It did not disappoint. This whole trip was amazing and a bonus to fit in a visit to Positano. It is a huge day, we...More

Walks of Italy recommended

Pompeii is worth seeing if you are in Rome for a few days. It is a few hours on the bus but they try to make it as comfortable as possible. Does make for a long day. Our tour guide for Pompeii, Paulo, was great....More

We went on Sunday because many Rome attractions were closed then. Yes, shops were open and you’ll be in Positano for a couple of hours. Had a fantastic lunch there overlooking the beach. Fresh fish with a lemon sauce that... More
