Highlights
    What to Expect
Make your way to the Vatican Museums for 7:30am admission (the museums open to the general public at 9am). Enter the Sistine Chapel through a dedicated door, 15 minutes before other early-access groups arrive. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the early morning, with time to absorb the Sistine Chapel’s masterpiece ceiling and The Last Judgment.

This priority-access ticket is good for the rest of the day, so continue through the enormous collection on your own schedule. The Vatican Museums comprise one of the world’s largest museums, with 54 galleries overflowing with show-stopping artwork. In addition to the Sistine Chapel, other highlights include paintings by Raphael, Giotto, and Caravaggio, sculptures from the early Christian era, and the dazzling Gallery of Maps.

An amazing site. Reading about the art before entering helped me enjoy it more. I brought a description with me to remind myself of details. Note for improvement to tour company: have a representative there on time. Many companies use the same meeting site. It...More

No this ticket does not include a guide. I am sure there are early tickets that have a guide but this is not one of them. I recommend just getting the Rick Steves app and downloading his audio tour. That's what I did... More
