What to Expect
This half-day tour kicks off in the late morning, and continues through lunchtime. Come hungry, as you’ll enjoy a meal’s worth of samples and tastes. Meet your guide at the Piazza Campo de’ Fiori and learn about the history of the Trevi neighborhood. You’ll see many of its most recognizable landmarks over the course of the tour, including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and the Column of Marcus Aurelius. Along the way, you’ll stop for more than seven snacks and tastings. Stops vary by tour, but you can expect everything from gelato and prosciutto to cheese, pizza, and wine. You’ll also have the chance to browse the busy Campo de’ Fiori Market, where locals buy fresh produce and other essentials. Along the way, your guide tells you the area’s rich history and provides restaurant recommendations for the rest of your stay.
