Overview

Maximize time spent at the Colosseum with this skip-the-line tour that includes priority access tickets. A special entrance leads directly to the Arena floor where gladiators once fought. Learn about the history of Ancient Rome from your guide and finish up the tour with a walk through Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum.

What to Expect

Meet your guide and group (24 people or less) outside the Colosseum and enter with skip-the-line priority access tickets. A special entrance opens directly into the Arena floor where gladiators once fought.

Seeing the Colosseum from the Arena floor offers a unique perspective, including views into the Dungeons of the Colosseum where both gladiators and animals were held before the fights. Your guide leads the way from the Arena up into the stands, telling stories about the history of this landmark as you explore.

After the Colosseum, your tour continues with a visit to Palatine Hill. One of the seven famous hills of Rome, Palatine Hill offers a sweeping view over the Roman Forum and Circus Maximus.

The final stop of this tour is the ruins of the Roman Forum.

Amazing bit of history

We really enjoyed the guided tour of the Colosseum. We learned a lot of historical facts that we would have missed with a self-guided tour. Seeing the remains of the Colosseum was amazing. The tour guide was very informative and spoke English quite well.
