About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Peterharris320 contributionsThe Food Capital of the WorldBologna Food Bologna is Mostly well known for the cheese, ham, and pasta started in this area. If you were to ask me, I would say that the reason Bologna is well known for cheese, ham, and pasta is the fertile and rich soil all throughout the Po Valley. The rain, snow, and ice (melt), bring many value added nutrients and dump themselves into the soil of the Po Valley. The rich fertile soil is described on the internet as: “chocolatey”. I had always heard that plants like to have their leaves misted, thinking it a myth, but in the Piemontese area, there’s a dense fog that settles and adds to the agricultural richness.Written March 17, 2025
- DavidS238170 contributionsGreat Motor Valley Day TripThis is a very well run tour. We were picked up by our AirBnB in Modena. We speak some Italian and got along great with our driver Francesco, grazie! Both museums are self-guided. Lamborghini Museum is essentially a showroom of important models over time. There are amazing art-like photographs taken within the factory. The Ferrari Museum is extensive and really goes in depth on Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1. The guided bus tour of the factory and test track are an exceptional experience (no photos allowed). Piero Ferrari was in his office and we saw his driver and custom green Ferrari, bellisimo!Written March 13, 2025
- shannonfabricant0 contributionsWonderful Overview of the CityA fantastic introduction to Bologna's Old City. Our tour guide was informed, charming, and very well paced. This tour gives the highlights of architecture and history in the city center of Bologna, and really orients you to everything in the area. We loved the information about the various buildings and history of the city, and loved that our guide, Micheala gave recommendations on which times to make return visits to various sites throughout the city. Highlights included the "7 Churches" and the San Petronio Church. Our guide also recommended an excellent gelato place which we went to the following day -- she was not wrong! Great way to get to know the city.Written February 21, 2025

- sukisamba0 contributionsExcellent tourExcellent walking tour. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and I learnt a lot about the city. The pace was good, she was easy to hear as we all had headphones and everything was very interesting.Written February 18, 2025
- kathleenwW4350PM0 contributionsTime Well SpentExcellent and very informative tour. Our guide was a native of Bologna and loved her city. I learned things about Bologna that I would have never picked up in books.Written February 12, 2025
- Pinner600 contributionsA taste of the bestThis tour came highly recommended by a cousin and we were not disappointed. Our guide Fede was knowledgeable and interesting. The tour offered a wonderful dip not just into Bologna’s food but also the city’s history. The high point a picnic in the world’s oldest wine. A great introduction to a lovely place.Written February 4, 2025
- Voyage6117240 contributionsNot worth the priceNot worth the price, the tour narration was sparse with a few historical facts. The church and view was beautiful, but that’s it, nothing else up there Return train was an hour late, you only need an hour to see everythingWritten January 27, 2025
- Elena S0 contributionsVery knowledgeable guideOur guide was very knowledgeable and shared information that gave us a good understanding of history and politics in Bologna over time. Her English was excellent for foreign travellers.Written January 27, 2025
- Richard M0 contributionsPoor customer serviceThe tour itself was fine but the customer service was unsatisfactory. I mistakenly double booked the Bologna walking tour for two different dates. I attended the first tour which was fine. When I later realized I was still booked for a second tour I immediately cancelled it online. Sadly, however, I was already apparently within the 24 hour “no cancellation” window. Viator said they contacted the operator who refused to help and charged me for a tour which I actually cancelled. The tour operator and Viator got double paid for a tour I attended once. I doubt they actually turned a willing customer away because of my mistaken booking. Both Viator and the tour operator need to be more flexible and customer oriented. The entire experience just leaves a bad taste. Rich McAlpinWritten December 31, 2024
- andersv6480 contributionsCity walkNice walk with interesting information about the history of the city. I would have liked some more food/restaurant recommendations.Written December 24, 2024
- Nenad M0 contributionsGood tourThe pace was relaxed, allowing us to really enjoy the sights. The only thing that could have improved the experience was a bit more time at some of the key sites. Overall, a wonderful tour and highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn about Bologna's charm!Written December 12, 2024
- A7780VWjeanner0 contributionsAbsolutely terrificSabrina was wonderful. She took us to 5 locations, one more breathtaking than the next, filling in a great deal of history about the early Christian era as well as Ravenna’s evolution. It is difficult to overstate the impact of these huge but remarkably detailed images made of small pieces of glass so many centuries ago. One suggestion would be that the tour could have been even better if she had used one of those radio transmitters that so many guides are using these days. But I can’t downgrade her at all for this. She was always audible and intelligible, and we appreciate what she added to our experience. The company could make the signing-up process a bit clearer, as I suggested to Chiara.Written December 1, 2024
- christianbrorholmm0 contributionsAuthentic and informative history tour in city centerMaria guided us through city center, in a small group. She told us stories about the people, cultures, and buildings of Bologna. This was a perfect way to start exploring the city. Big thanks to Maria for the tour.Written November 25, 2024

Tutti gentilissimi. Consiglio per l'organizzazione.
