      Venice tour
Great tour. Very informational and you could tell the guide knew his stuff and cared. Bus ride was super comfortable too and everything went very smoothly.

Well organised and informative day trip to Venice
The coach picked us up on time near our hotel. The tour guide (Janos?) was friendly, helpful and informative. The short boat trip from the coach park to the centre of Venice gave some great views along the Grand Canal. The walking tour had earphones and was lead by Janos. We had a good amount of free time in the afternoon before travelling back to Lake Garda. Good value for money.

Lovely part of italy to explore
The lake is bigger than i thought and glad we stayed in Garda as central to all parts of the lake, such a beautiful place to stay with so many restaurants on the front to choose from and very reasonable prices, try the many different ice creams, travelled to quite a few of the many towns on the lake by ferries which make a leisurely way of travelling. August very hot so if you don't like the heat go earlier or later in the year. we took a trip to the dolomites which was lovely and into Verona to watch the opera, both great excursions.

      Worth a visit
Worth seeing this, although you cant get round the whole of it, and would probably be good to see a performance. We didn't find you needed to pre book tickets, it was cheaper getting them on the day and we didn't queue too long.

      Beautiful Venice
So happy we took this tour to Venice! Excellent (air conditioned) coach, picked up bang on time. Wonderful tour guide - Franchesco, who was entertaining the whole time. Once at Venice, you board the ferry boat over. Its amazing watching Venice appear before your eyes! Once you disembark there is an audio tour to St Marks Square & onto the Rialto Bridge, but we left the tour at St Marks and spent the afternoon exploring. We then booked the laguna tour around the smaller islands later on, before the ferry and coach back. Well worth the money for a well informed whistle stop trip to a very beautiful city!

      Great Day in Venice
Early start from Lake Garda once on the coach a few more pick ups and then we were on our way. Welcomed by Thomas who gave us so much information about Venice the history and what to do there. Offered a couple of extra activities while on coach gondola ride and a boat tour of Venice taking in all the areas. Would have been good to know about these in advance as only payable by cash. 120 euro for the gondola for the family and the boat trip was 25 euro each. Enjoyed both trips. Had a lovely meal in one of the restaurants on Grand Canal then met up for the walking tour which again gave a lot of history of Venice.

      Great day in Verona
A truly wonderful day in Verona. Picked up at exactly the right time and welcomed by Thomas on to the coach. After a few more pick ups we were on our way to Verona. On the way Thomas gave us all the information for the day and what would be good to visit and times for our walking tour. This was in English and German fluent in both. We had time to explore on our own and also the walking tour which led us around the town and gave interesting information about the history and took us to Juliet's balcony. Great architecture and the amphitheatre was spectacular

If you like opera then you’re going to enjoy this
Picked up from hotel and driven into Verona city not far from the venue Wow what a place Originally purchased the cheapest seats and when we picked up tickets offered a upgrade for extra 20 euros each in more comfortable seats and very close to the stage Well worth the cost as no speakers or amplifiers so you would struggle to hear live orchestra and actors The setting and opera was amazing but over 3 hours long with 2 intervals If you like opera or it’s on your bucket list then go you won’t be disappointed Take a fan as very hot even late at night Drinks available inside were reasonable prices

      Great Experience
Very much enjoyed the experience and the price of the tickets were good value for money. The “whistle stop” Verona tour was worth the ticket price alone really, so the Opera (which is not “our bag”) was a bonus. We saw Carmen, however, must confess we retired to a comfy bar for refreshments prior to the end! But that’s a personal choice. The tickets provided were great, with a perfect view. The arrangements were spot on. Buying a €5 cushion outside the arena to sit on IS A MUST. Good value for the tour and the experience, even if you don’t last the whole show like us.

      Good day out
Good day out exploring Verona which is a great city with a lot to see. Picked up from Riva at 7.35 and returned home at around 6pm so not too long a day. The guide was really funny and helpful but the walking tour which was arranged had too many people and was hard to understand the guide at times as the audio wasn’t great. Overall though great day and glad we visited the lovely Verona.

Great day trip to beautiful Venice
Really enjoyed this trip to Venice, picked up at 7.35 from Riva and returned back at 9pm so is a long day but worth it. Guide was friendly and helpful and helped organise gondola rides and boat lagoon trip and was clear with instructions on meeting places etc. Gondola 35 euros each and lagoon 25 euros so bring cash. Had to share gondola with another couple who although were lovely wasn’t ideal really. Venice was great the buildings and square are stunning and we would love to return for a city break.

Go for the Experience, not the Opera
Opera is like sushi: you know you're going to hate it even if you've never tried it before. Add in 90 degree heat, excruciating seats, gnats and unamplified audio, and it does not get much worse. We saw the Avantgarde version of Aida in the old Roman theatre in Verano in July. The theater is worth a visit for historical reasons, but the seating is so uncomfortable that I think I would rather be a Christian facing the lions in the center of the arena than be a spectator in the seats. The people in the row in front of you literally must sit on your feet. The performance itself was unintelligible (as expected) and we made it through Act 1 (of 4). Go for the experience of open-air opera in an old Roman theater, but do not expect to enjoy it.

      Great Day In Venice
Absolutely wonderful day trip to Venice. Be prepared for a long day ! Leaving Limone at 07.10 and returning 8.30pm. Our tour guide was so friendly and helpful. Arranged our excursions on the coach as well. Venice is lovely , we did the gondola (35 euro each) and lagoon tour (25 euro each) so my advice would be take plenty of euros ! As you don’t want to miss these !

Very good but areas to improve
The coach journey was v good with an experienced driver. Venice is stunning, and we loved the experience despite the high temp and humidity, which was expected given a high summer visit. The additional option offered by our guide of a lagoon cruise was v good and worthwhile. However it would have been helpful to understand that cash was required beforehand. Our guide, although v nice, wasn't very informative/ knowledgeable, and once we reached Venice, there was an expectation that more knowledge of the city would have been shared - this was misleading as a guided tour and disappointing. The map provided was extremely poor and so small unreadable. However, the guide gave clear instructions and was kindly which was appreciated.

It was an early pick from Desenzano 630. We knew it was going to be a long day but didn’t realise quite how long. The first 2 and a half hours approx we spent picking other people up. Our first stop was for a comfort break and a drink etc. we then drove until about 11 where we had a 15 minute stop at a waterfall, which was pretty. We arrived at the Dolomites about 12.30 ish. The driver of the double decker bus had great driving skills to get up there. We were told the ski lift took 5 mins we should take 10 mins up there and then 5 mins back, although I would say you should allow for waiting times to get on the cable car both ways. Time at the Dolomites 1 hour and 45 minutes in total also allowed for lunch. We then left and drove to a village which we had an hour to ourselves. We then started the long drive back. We arrived 13 and a half hours later back at Desenzano. It was a nice trip but one that I would not recommend from the south of Lake Garda. There was too much time travelling with only an hour and 45 mins at the actual Dolomites. Lovely views which I am sure would have been better for us had it not been cloudy and rainy but even if the weather had been good, 13 and a half hours for one and 45 mins at the destination was not for us. Also the guide nice guy seemed to just talk for talking sake. However I am sure lots of people enjoyed it on the double decker bus with approx 75 people on it and because there was so many people on the bus it meant so many stops to pick up all those people. Sadly the trip was not one we would recommend

This was a really lovely trip. The coach was comfortable and air conditioned. The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. The scenary was jaw dropping! We particularly enjoyed the cable car ride at Pordoi. We recommend the cafe near the bottom cable car station if you just want a light lunch like a sandwich. The service was fast and efficient, helpful when you are on a time limit. We would recommend this trip as it would be difficult to do this itinerary yourself. Bring a fleece or jacket if you are going to use the cable car.

Firstly, the overall experience was great. The views along the way and at the stoppoints were beautiful. Then the timing was more reasonable. Thirdly, I really appreciated that the guide and driver dropped me off at a nearby train station so that I could catch the train in time.

Lastly, one very bad thing is that I contacted the contact details they provided many times a day in advance (asking for two important details) without any answer. The next day I waited at the appointed place (along with a couple, thankfully) but the bus never came and they ended up parking at a nearby bus station without anyone informing me in advance. As you can imagine, I was likely to miss the trip, luckily the couple received a phone call after that and we found out.

Really enjoyed the whole day. 12 hours but its split evenly with enough time in the stop offs and the views en route kept me occupied. The domites did not disappoint! You must do the cable car too though which is €21 if the guide books some of you as a group. Fab views at top and a lovely restaurant so nicely designed. I had the best warm apple strudel with custard and a g&t (large!) For only €12. At first stop off I didn't use the hotel suggested.. walked 1 minute more chose a small cafe where I had delish strawberry cake and a beer for 8 euros! Amazing. Back to the views.. after cable car I thought it would be just fairly plain views. Wrong! Lovely views of more dolomites and then the wonderful town of Ortisei.. its so pretty! (I must return to Ortesei). Fab atmosphere. Delicious ice cream.
Our guide was pretty good, but his info on how to get where could have been better..a bit more time for the customer please..its just a matter of another minute and made the difference of me not being able to find the panoramic views you mentioned in Ortisei (because you didn't want to give me extra time to describe exactly where to go!). But as a tour, I highly recommend.

De Dolomieten where AMAZING! But u pay the full
Price only for a REALLY long bus ride. No drinks or food included. And the cable tour to get to the Dolomieten (what they advertise taking you there) is not included! (Another 21 euro’s). So we spend in Total 9 hours in the bus with 2 extra stops what really was not necessary because we only had 1,5 hours by the Dolomieten. The tour gide was friendly And the busdriver did an amazing job. But for the overal price And what we got in retour was not good balanced. But u forget all that when you see the amazing vieuws.

Dear Guest, I'm sorry that the tour was not to your liking. But we did the tour as described on the excursion page. it was written exactly how it would take place, and what was included or not.. The cable car to reach the summit is not mandatory (it can also be reached on foot in about 50 minutes) I'm sorry you did not enjoy the trip... we did it since many years and we have alwas good review from that.... :( Maybe another kind of trip could have been more suitable for you... Thank you anyway for give us an occasion, Best regards, Riccardo

Fantastic day trip to the Dolomites, well organised and structured.
Our guide Gabriella was great, very knowledgeable and funny too made the trip fantastic. The driver Nico was superb not sure I’d have the nerves to drive those hairpin bends like he did!!
Highly recommend this trip to the Dolomites - great views the whole trip from the bus. Due to foggy weather we couldn’t go on the cable car but was still a great experience with the snow!!
These trips do look like a long day on paper but definitely worth it with plenty stops on the way!!

Excellent full day (13hrs from Sirmione!) trip to the Dolomites. Very skilful coach driver as once off the autoroute the roads were very narrow and windy. Our rep was also very friendly and had some interesting knowledge to pass on as we drove on the coaches. Once we reached Pas Pordoi we paid the extra to take the cable car to the top and the views were amazing. Prices in the restaurant up there were also very reasonable. The tour stops a few times in some local small villages and again these were interesting and welcome stops. Only one issue was the microphone on the coach broke so the rep struggled to get everyone to hear. Also it is a long day on the coach as it’s a long way to drive so be prepared.

We were lucky to have Francesco as our tour guide, he is very enthusiastic and kept a very warm, friendly atmosphere at the bus during the whole ride. He informed us very well about the places we were going to visit and was very informative, everything was clear, how long each stop was, where toilets were available, cash mashines etc. discocunts to buy groceries for the trip. everything was one step ahead! I specially booked this trip as I was traveling with my 65 year old mom who suffers from knie pain and would have otherwise had a hard time climbing the dolomites, this trip was perfect for her as they take you through the beautiful scenery, mountains with very litte effort. I certainly recommed this trip!!

This trip was a disaster from the start. The trip should have been cancelled due to the torrential rain downpour. You should have also checked the conditions to know that it was all fogged in up there. We had to wait 30 minutes for the bus after being dropped off by the taxi van. Then we skipped a scheduled stop due to road conditions and stopped in a small town at a little cafe that did not have much to offer. Nothing to see the whole way and stopped for an hour and a half for lunch. Then left there to head back. We ended up getting back 3 hours early and had to wait for taxi vans for another 30 minutes because evidently no one notified them we were coming back early. It was a waste of a day and a waste of money.

What a fabulous view from the top. The cable car journey is well worth it. Big thanks to Bruno the coach driver and Gabriella our guide from Montebaldo for a fabulous day out. Bruno kept his cool while negotiating the 28 hairpin bends which meant we were calm and relaxed when we got there.
