      Brilliant tour
I only booked tickets for this tour because tickets for just the Last Supper were sold out, and this was the only way I could find to see it. But this tour was absolutely brilliant, and we are so glad we did it. David was the perfect guide - clearly passionate and very polished. We learned a lot not just about the painting but who da Vinci was, and about his contemporaries, and the Pieta (and David's information about why it is the way it is) was a massive highlight of our trip.

      Highlight of our Milan visit.
Seeing the restored original of The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci is the highlight of our tour and stay in Milan. Michaelangelo’s unfinished , vertical, Pieta was very interesting, evocative, and well displayed. Thanks to our professional guide Sylvia.

Good, fast tour to see painting
Good explanations during the 1 hour. You get 15min at the painting. Only problem was finding the guide; there are a lot of tours and no signs who is doing which tour.

      Not recommended
Don't do it. Almost too many reasons to list. Really regretted it. Too far from Milan. Not at all suitable for kids - 4 hours spent on a bus and that was just to get to Tirano, so still had 2 hours of train journey and another 4 hours of bus journey after that. Bus broke down and was unable to take us back to Milan. Had to get a taxi for $700 after waiting 4 hours and not hearing from the company. The "guide" offered no help at all, but to be fair, it seemed like he was left stranded as well. Terrible experience and a very expensive mistake. I'm afraid I can't recommend it.

Worst option to go to Turin
For 2 hours travel from Malpensa to Torino Autostradale is the worst option. No space between the seats, dirty. Very uncomfortable. Better use Flibco, Flixbus or even the train.

Unique trip, great way to see lake Como and the alps.
Very comfortable excursion with amazing experience. Bus coach was fantastic, and the boat on Lago di Como is not to be missed. Then, a world heritage trip into the Alps.

Easy way to get to the outlet
Smooth comfortable ride. Nothing spectacular. I would say the day i went there was a protest going on so we had to meet the bus a few blocks away. Which i understood

      Pay attention - overbooking
They just cancelled my paid reservation to the Leonardo Da Vinci Last Supper 2 days before the reserved date because of "organizational issues". Very disappointed with Autostradale Viaggi. Probably they sell overbooked or resold our tickets. No trust at all on their excuses or explanations.

      Worst tour guide.
The most impolite tour guide I have ever met. Hope your bag enjoyed the view on our way back!! I asked him if i can be seated front to see the view and his rudeness says oh my bag is there. What a shame.

Worst Tour experience I’ve ever had, hands down.
This is the worse tour company I’ve ever used and I’ve used dozens across my travel. I was there on time and the bus left, which apparently it normal for this company after reading reviews. They charged me an extra €100 to go on the tour the next day. The guide stood over me as I retrieved money from the ATM to give her the €100; mind you I was holding my baby who was asleep and she woke him up. I offered earlier to use PayPal to pay them and they declined. The guide wasn’t accommodating with me having a stroller, and often left before I could have by baby strapped in, so I would miss meeting instructions. She did help sometimes though. Overall I wouldn’t recommend the company or Get Your Guide. I would recommend a similar tour because it’s beautiful, but a 13 hr day is a lot.

      Very easy ride
I had no issues finding the meeting spot as the previous reviewer noted. Everything was smooth. The only “issue” is that the post says if you take the 10am bus you will return from the outlet at 6:30pm. But in actuality it leaves the outlet at 6:30 & you get back to the pickup spot at about 8:30. It may have been a language barrier.

I visited Milan this month and was looking for a few day trip options and Lake Como was routinely recommended so I booked the tour. I'm not going to review the company I did it with because generally their service was fine its just that all in all was not worth the time on the bus on the water walking around the town. Not very inspiring. To be fair it was a bit of a rainy dreary day so that did not help matters, but after a 40 minute boat ride on the lake and an hour in Bellagio you take a ferry to the Como area to shop and see the "town" and cathedral. Sorry not worth the effort and $130+ dollars. I took a day trip to Venice and had a much better time. Even on a sunny spring day I could not recommend this. And many of the other passengers on the tour ( because it sells very well) agreed.

Hello, Thank you for booking with us. Lake Como is one of most wonderful locations in Lombardy, it is unfortunate that the weather was not ideal. We are sure that if you come back on a sunny day you will enjoy Bellagio, Como and their beautiful sceneries more. Kind regards, Thomas

we booked the Lake Como tour and paid $200+ and we were extremely excited to go on this trip as it was our first time in Milan,
we arrived at 8 :00 am around the Centrale touring around and around to find the departure point described and we didn't find it ( No sign , no flag just nothing !!).
after being exhausted. I called the number on WhatsApp and a lady finally picked up , we literarily begged her to wait for us but she said they had to leave. They didn't even bother to call us or send us an email or any other contact !!!
We asked her over and over to give us any other route /stop point so we can join the group but she was very rude and said we are not educated . Repeating over and over that we will never catch up with them.

She ruined our day and we were extremely sad. They didn't even bother to refund.

Please Don't waste your time and money with those guys , they will defiantly ruin your day !!!

Dear customer, our meeting point at Central Station has a bus pole or sign that clearly states the starting of the tour. From our records we see our team gave you an address and time to reach the tour after they departured. At the same number you contacted us the first time you can still rescheduale your tour and request your preferable date. We hope to hear from you soon, Thank you.

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience! The tour guide (@italymountainleader on instagram) is incredibly knowledgable, providing information about different notable people, places, buildings and was extremely helpful in giving everyone good recommendations for food places. The coach ride gave us some decent views and comfortability as we hopped from different areas. We had a lot of free time all together, about 1-2 hours in each place which is a plenty amount of time to see everything. The views from these stops are so beautiful! Considering how many places you are able to see within this tour, as well as the transportation, the money is definitely worth it and i highly recommend it!

This was an excellent introduction to the Lake Como area. We had great views of the lake and the mansions and towns located around the edge, time to explore several towns and safe and efficient transport. The guide was well equipped to provide background information and answer questions. her manner was delightful and added to the experience. We would recommend this tour as a delicious taster of the lake and mountain area.

so for $100, i would expect a little more effort from this tour than i received. the bus itself was comfortable but you're really paying for just the bus & boat transportation. we stopped by Menaggio and "got to walk around" for a bit, coffee & bathroom break before going on the boat to Bellagio where we had more time for lunch and a stroll before going back on the boat to go to the bus to take us to the city of Como which was also kind of bland. there was MINIMAL information given at each site and on the boat. it was kind of a free for all: drop you off, have fun, come back, etc. i guess it's nice if you just want a taste of lake como vibes but do i recommend it if you really want to immerse yourself? eh, just rent a car instead and drive up, probably is cheaper

We chose this tour as we wanted to see the lake and didn’t want to make too many decisions. From that perspective, it was great. We found our meeting place very clear and the bus driver was excellent.

However, when we picked people up at the second meeting place, it became obvious there was confusion about numbers and bookings, and that theme carried through the day.

The guides tried to break the group into smaller groups, but they weren’t clear on who was supposed to go with who so we all stayed as one very large group when we walked around.

The boat ride and Bellagio were fantastic - beautiful scenery and the boat had plenty of room.

We had an hour in Bellagio so got panini and sat by the water edge. But with only an hour, groups who tried to be served at a restaurant struggled to make the meet up point.

When we left Bellagio, we had a very long bus ride to Como. We understand it’s because the tourist buses can only drive one way around this road, but the guides didn’t tell us how long we were going to be on the bus for so we could prepare accordingly with water and toilet stops. By the time we arrived in Como, many passengers were uncomfortable.

We had one hour in Como, at the end of a long hot day. We didn’t see it at its best, therefore. Not the fault of the tour guides, but something to consider when you are deciding how to spend your time.

Although it begun with a late arrival of the coach, we weren’t disappointed with the day. Someone did try to call the company but nobody picked up, everyone was unsure about whether we were waiting the right place. A map with a circle of where to wait would have been great.
It was led by a local from the area, she was entertaining and seemed knowledgeable. The gardens advertised as a stop was closed, but this isn’t clear on the booking page unless you click on the individual building.
The boat ride was lovely, it was a nice, sunny day. The area was fairly busy, I can imagine it’s very busy in the summer time. We were back around 7pm-7.30pm.
It was such an enjoyable day, everyone on the trip seemed friendly and helpful when necessary.

For the price, this is a wonderful day trip from Milan. We would have paid 3x as much.

One thing that I found strange was that it was a bilingual (English and Spanish) tour which wasn't particularly prominent in the promotional materials. Though I can understand a bit of Spanish, I found that the tour guide weaving between the two languages detracted from the quality of the tour as it exhausted me by hitting two different areas of my brain (one from high school). This made it harder to stay focused on what was being said.

Though the tour guide was talented, the presentation (partially due to the language swapping) didn't have that memorable, almost cinematic, quality that you can sometimes find on high quality tours. Some jokes and "new" facts thrown in, but presented like business as usual. Also note that the trip back on Sunday night got us in at roughly 6:58 PM--quite a long day and could make early dinner reservations difficult.

Regarding how to make the most of the tour when you're given free time, you should plan a little itinerary in advance. We didn't, but we have great intuition and walk VERY fast, so I'm confident in saying that we maximized the free time we were given compared to some of the other people on the tour who seemed to avoid exploring.

Firstly, our tour guide spoke bad English. We couid not understand half of what she was saying. It was in English and Spanish so when she had finished in one language and went to another, whatever building she was explaining about had gone past. She also just sat on her front row chair and explained instead of showing us the buildings she was talking about! Really a waste
There was traffic buildup on our way to the cruise and because of the delay, everything was rushed. I particularly purchased this tour because it had Verrena and I was interested to view the gardens but because of the timing, we did not go there! We spent most of our time stuck in traffic on our way back. I really think some form of reimbursement should be accorded to us. This is t a cheap tour however it wasn’t worth the price.
    I would not recommend

Our tour guide Franco was knowledgable and we learned so much about the history of the towns surrounding Lake Como. His driver Enzo was an excellent driver especially driving in very narrow roads and the ride was smooth. The 1hr boat tour was also good and the ride was smooth as well. We were also lucky and blessed to have a great sunny weather despite the unpredictable autumn weather in November. Would definitely recommend it to anyone planning to visit Lake Como for a day.
