The exhibition is family friendly and recommended for adults and children alike as it is able to stimulate curiosity and promote understanding of his remarkable work.

It is organised in four sections: Earth, water, air and fire. In addition to the machines the visitors can experience some of Leonardo’s major studies of anatomy and high resolution backlit replicas of his major paintings that allow to explore his medical and artistic works.

The museum has descriptions in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Russian, supplemented by multimedia displays on Leonardo’s life and works.

Although the museum is small and a bit scattered, it is extremely informative. You learn a lot about da Vinci and get to try some of inventions.
