Overview
Explore the five idyllic fishing village’s of Italy’s UNESCO-listed Cinque Terre on this hiking tour departing from Florence. This hassle-free adventure includes round-trip coach transportation and entry to the national park. You’ll visit areas inaccessible by car, hear from your guide about each town, enjoy a moderately challenging hike, and take a boat cruise along the Italian Riviera.
What to Expect

Your journey begins with a coach ride from Florence to Manarola, where your 3.4-mile (5.5-kilometer) hike begins. Follow a scenic trail that stretches through all five of the Cinque Terre’s UNESCO-listed fishing villages, hearing from your guide about points of interest along the way.

Hike along cliffside trails in Corniglia, pass terraces of olive groves and cafes in Vernazza, and refresh tired feet during a swim stop in a bay. Then, take the train to Monterosso, where you’ll have free time to explore the beaches and artisan shops typical of the village.

The tour culminates with a boat ride along the Italian Riviera to colorful Riomaggiore. From here, you’ll hike to Manarola and relax during the coach ride back to Florence.

Eccezionale!

In spite of the unseasonably hot September day, completing our hike was rewarding and the views were spectacular. Our guides Olivia and Alessandro of Walkabout Tours were informative and experts at keeping our group together and on schedule throughout the day. Eccezionale!!

Hello, the boat ride won't be running at that time of the year, but the hike will be doable. The Cinque Terre have a perfect microclimate and also in winter at daytime you get sunny days. The Walkabout Team

My wife and I did Cinque Terre last summer. We are good hikers and I have to say it was a rough hike as there are a lot of stairs and it was very warm since it was summer. There were closed sections, and I was told that... More
