  • Learn about art, architecture, and history in the comfort of a small group
  • Access the Cupola del Brunelleschi dome and Campanile di Giotto bell tower
What to Expect
Greet your guide and small group on Piazza San Giovanni and stroll to the recently refurbished Baptistery, a whirl of mosaic and marble. Next, explore the Duomo (Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore), and enjoy an overview of the Cupola del Brunelleschi dome and Campanile di Giotto bell tower which you’ll climb independently after your tour is finished. Your final stop is the newly reopened Museo dell’Opera del Duomo, where you can see the original artworks that once decorated the Duomo, Baptistery, and bell tower. Besides scores of statues and reliefs, marvel at Michelangelo’s Pietà sculpture and Ghiberti’s bronze doors, the Gates of Paradise, that once adorned the Baptistery. Your ticket entitles you to climb the dome one hour after the tour ends.
