Tour cancelled at the last minute
Aug. 2019
The tour company hired by Viator cancelled the tour about a week before we were to go. They said they didn't have enough people that signed up. Interestingly enough the tour was still available to book when we looked for a different tour. We used a different tour company, paid less and had a great tour with just 4 other people.

Artviva are lucky to have Hilde!
Nov. 2019 • Solo
My second tour in Florence, Italy, and by the far the best. Hilde took me through the streets and her knowledge was mind blowing. Not to mention she was one of the nicest people I have ever met, period. Artviva are extremely lucky to have her. Unfortunately a 6 star rating isn’t available on trip advisor.

Fantastic Tour
Oct. 2019
We took the ArtViva tours of both the Accademia and the Uffizi when we were in Florence last month. Our guide Brenda was wonderful and it was clear that she loves her work. She was extremely knowledgeable and we learned fascinating details about the art, sculptures and artists that we would have missed if we had done the tours on our own. We also got to skip the lines. We highly recommend these tours!

Skip the line!
Sep. 2019 • Couples
Brenda our tour guide was outgoing and funny. It’s a good tour if you have limited time in Florence and you don’t want to waste it standing in line. The tour was short and sweet, learned all about David and was able to stick around and view other exhibits after the tour ended. Best piece of advice I’ve learned in Italy, pay the little extra and get a skip the line tour and book in advance. We missed out on the Duomo, booked solid since a week before. Now I have an excuse to come back to Italy but since it’s so wonderful here I don’t need one!

Excellent tour at the Accadamia Museum
Sep. 2019
We had a great tour with Manoli to see Michelangelo's David and other art work at the Accadamia Museum. Of the 5 guided tours we took in Italy, Manoli was the best tour guide as he brought to life most vividly the history, personalities, and stories behind the art and the artists. The Accadamia is relatively small compared to other museums but the David is superb and other partially completed sculptures were also fascinating. Highly recommend.

Great Tour to See Michelangelo's David
During our recent visit to Florence, we took a short walking tour to the Accademia Gallery to see the original statue of Michelangelo's David. The tour was provided by ArtViva Tours. Although a short tour, it was very interesting and educational. Our tour guide (Riccardo) was fantastic. He was very knowlegeable and passionate about the subject matter, and provided perspectives and nuances that you could not get by visiting on your own. He also provided informative commentary on other Michelangelo works in the same wing of the museum. The original statue of David is awe-inspiring. The copy of this statue at nearby Piazza della Signoria does not do justice to the original - you need to see the original. I can highly recommend this tour experience provided by ArtViva Tours.

Our tour guide was overflowing with enthusiasm and passion about David. It was infectious and informative. It was a fairly short tour, but at the end of the day, it was exactly what we needed and wanted.

David Tour = fantastic!
Jul. 2019 • Couples
We had a fantastic tour of the David with Riccardo. He was filled the time with tremendous info and history that was easy to understand. Not being huge art history buffs, Riccardo did a great job providing context and background to all the details. Riccardo was nice and personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about Michelangelo and Florence’s history. I would ask for Riccardo if you can!

Vale la pena no se lo pierdan! Totally worth it, dont miss it!
Jun. 2019 • Family

Maybe you could could go to the museum on your own but it was totally worth it paying for the guided tour. She gave us historical context and helped us appreciate the David in a way that I wouldn't have done without her information. Also we did get in faster with them.
