No information about the public section
Aug. 2020
Very difficult to find information about it. Some gates seem to be open to the public without visiting the Pitti Palace, and had opening times on them, but were still closed. A shame, since it seemed to be a beautiful garden.

Karin, thank you to share with us your experience. Boboli garden is a private garden and some parts may be closed due to restoration or maintenance and our guides are showing all the open parts. Luckily the unopened sections of the garden aren't many and the beautiness of the park is untouched. Hope to guide you in the future. Ciao!

Beautiful gardens & amazing view over Florence
Oct. 2019 • Couples
Combined a trip to Boboli Gardens & Pitti Palace. Whilst the Palace was lovely with numerous collections the Gardens were beautiful with fountains, numerous pathways for all abilities. The bonus was on the day we chose to visit it was free.

Dreadful
Aug. 2019 • Family
The woman in the ticket office was the rudest person I have ever had the misfortune to come across. Inside I was expecting to have the opportunity to sit down - especially on a scorching hot day - but there was nowhere. Landscaping wasn’t that great. It does offer a good view of the cathedral dome but not worth the time or the money.

Dear Debbie thank you for taking the time of writing this review. However, I am not sure which ticket office you are talking about. Could you confirm you did take the Boboli Gardens guided tour with Keys of Italy? If this is the case, I would appreciate if you could send us an email at tours@keysofflorence.com with more details about your bad experience. We take customers' feedback very seriously and we would like to know how we can improve. Thank you, Edoardo Pescucci Keys of Italy Team

Amazing
Aug. 2019 • Solo
Went after a tour of the palace and these gardens are just amazing. Spent a good 3 hours walking around and sat in a nice shady spot to have a welcome rest. Neptune fountain in the middle of the uphill bit and an absolute hidden gem. Highly recommend a visit to anyone looking to see Florence and it’s beauty.

This was utterly, utterly beautiful experience. We are so glad that we visited. The gardens are beautiful, the views are spectacular and the grottos are magical. Our enchanting guide Alessandra was a brilliant guide, so knowledgable and funny making all of the information accessible and entertaining. A city oasis
We had a lovely afternoon walking around the gardens
We bought a 10 Euro ticket which granted us access to Boboli gardens plus the neighboring Bardini gardens.
Gardens/palace plus lots of modern art sculptures
Walk to the top for wonderful views over the city

Nice gardens - shame you don't get a better view of Florence
Aug. 2018
These are really nice gardens in a classic ornate Italian style
Lots of statues and a lovely feeling to them - big so not too busy feeling even in August
They are quite steeply banked so be prepared for some climbing
reason for a lack of fifth star - I was disappointed by the views of Florence - mostly blocked by the main house
Also the queue to get in was quite long and the food in the cafe was distinctly average for Italy

The gardens are great to walk around and a lovely way to spend an hour or two. There are some really pretty fountains and lovely views at points.
