    Walking Tour
Ricardo did a great job of breaking down the history of Florence. I recommend doing the tour on your first day in Florence. It was helpful in learning the layout of the area.

    Antonio was a great guide.
Antonio was very clear as used a small amplifier so we could all hear him . He told us some spooky tales as he took us around central Florence. He also gave interesting stories about the architecture. It was a good tour just long enough & not too tiring

    Great Mystery tour
It was a really interesting and relaxing tour with a great storyteller such as Angela! We enjoyed listening to mysterious and less famous stories and legends that introduced us to the everyday life of Florence citizens. Angela was very clear, pleasant, and capable of transferring the mistical atmosphere to all of us! We will recommend this tour to our friends, thank you very much for the great experience! 😊

    You need this tour
Fun even for teens, informative and just keeps you engaged! You need this! This tour is so far from boring, and gives you so many insights on how Florentine people lived, what their passions, struggles and worries were! Our guide was a passionate and knowledgeable Mikael (sorry if I misspelled!), he brings into you so much love towards Florence in his stories! I saw families of 5 people , all dressed up (not families in need, if I may) paying only 10. Really?! I saw many people just listening through this tour and just leaving before the end just not to pay?! Come on, how would you think if you work and nobody pays for it? It's just so unfair. And you personally would not like this either. So is with these guys... They rely on you and your fairness. Please consider paying as much as you want. Try to research, how much one tour is and please tip these guys well, they are so much worth it!!!

    Informative walk and guide
Giacomo was a wonderfully knowledgeable and entertaining guide! The sights of major attractions such as the Duomo and Uffizi, which seemed to be around every corner, only added to the charm of Florence's colorful and eerie past. The pace of the walk was easy and the distance covered was very manageable. All in all, a great trip!

Wow! Hands down one of the best tours I’ve been on. Fabio was EXCELLENT!!! Very professional but still very personable and friendly. Since he’s a native to Florence, this seemed like a seamless tour. On such a hot day, he made sure to stop at areas where there was enough shade for the entire group. He even showed us traditional Tuscan dishes and gave us recommendations of where to dine. The tour ends at the Uffizi Gallery which is PERFECT if you’d like to see famous paintings by Boticelli, Michelangelo, etc. I recommend booking this tour on a Tuesday afternoon so that you can enjoy the Uffizi Gallery without the crowds (Uffizi Gallery is open late hours on Tuesdays). 10/10 hands down! Don’t question it, just book it.

Excellent! A very dynamic tour, with a pleasant walk through the streets of Florence. I recommend taking it upon arrival in the city, so you can later choose which site you want to visit in more detail. Additionally, Janeth, our guide, gave us advice on where to eat delicious and cheap, which helped us during our stay in the city. Janeth was super clear, explanatory, kind, and very nice. She was always attentive to resolving any doubts that arose, and always making sure that we all listened to her well and that no one in the group was missing.

An excellent way to get to know the city layout, do’s & don’ts, as well as a bit of its history – recommended for the first day of your visit.
A really enjoyable walking tour at an easy pace. Two hours was just enough.

Our guide was Fabio who was excellent and very knowledgeable – clear and understandable even with the surrounding city noise.

The initial price gets you in the tour and you tip your guide (at the end of the tour) giving what you believe the tour and experience is worth.

Would highly recommend.

This was a great walking tour (about 2 hours) and gives a great amount of information especially if you've just arrived to get you level set. Fabio was our tour guide and he WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE and very informative and helpful. Highly recommend this tour and Fabio!

Side note: He also recommended the best restaurant to go eat a steak Fiorentino (Trattoria Za Za) which was probably one of the best steaks I've ever eaten in my life!!! But you have to make a reservation and still expect a few minutes to be seated as this restaurant is one of the most popular and famous in Florence.

We really enjoyed this walking tour! I was skeptical at first, this being a "free tour". But we got a guide named Michele who was not only a certified guide and very knowledgeable about Florentian history, but also told the story of Florence in a very captivating manner while at the same time connecting it to the various artifacts around us. We had earlier pre-booked admission tickets to the various museums, cathedrals, palazzos, etc. but were able to appreciate those visits much more after this 2 hour introductory walking tour. Michele did explain that the way they are compensated is purely by tips, and everyone in our party rewarded him well for the fantastic job he did! It's always good to come back from a tour with a positive experience.

Route through the must-see places of Florence with an unparalleled historical foundation. This tour allows you to tour the main tourist points of Florence in approximately 2h. In addition, Gabriel constantly gave us personal recommendations of places, restaurants, museums to prioritize, etc. Gabriel answers all questions that arise, showing great historical knowledge and the city. We ate at one of the restaurants he recommended and found it all delicious and popularly priced. Fully recommended!

If you are looking for an immersive experience in Renaissance Florence, this is your free tour.
Diego has taken us to the Florence of the Medici from its beginnings to the end of its time.
Details and brushstrokes to past eras in explanations have transported us to each of the moments.
It has also been very useful information about times and prices of each place (museums, churches...) that are worth visiting, as well as tips to enjoy the experience in each museum without becoming exhausting.
And of course, refer to that wonderful WhatsApp chat "Tips Diego" where you have sent us a map of recommendations of what to see, do and eat in Florence, where we have also been able to ask questions about the city.
Fully recommended!

Take this free tour through civitavis, it was an excellent experience, the Janeth guide, told us about the history and architecture of Florence. He took us to key locations, and in addition to explaining all and answering each of the group’s questions, he told us the options of free or paid tickets to each museum/church. Aemas, the last Janeth told us every story, made this tour very entertaining. It was worth 200% to escape for 2.5h from the congress I came to Florence for.

Great introduction to Florence. We did this on our first morning and our tour guide was Fabio. He was very clearly spoken and easy to hear him above the sounds and crowds around us, he was also pretty funny. He taught us about the history of Florence, the architecture and the food of Florence. I recommend this as a good thing to do when you first get to Florence as you can get your bearings in the city and decide whether you want to explore any sites, food or the history further. What's also really good is after the tour you get sent a link to places the guides recommend to eat, shop, drink and take photos.

We have done the tour with Silvia, and I can say that she has been the best guide I have ever had. It has been super complete, and very well put together. During the two hours that the guide lasted, it ensured that we did not disconnect at any time and that we were left wanting to know more. I definitely recommend it to all those who want to learn about the history and curiosities of the city in an entertaining and interactive way.
