A great way to get your bearings and see central Brussels’ top sights
Hassle-free tour with chocolate and beer tastings included

What to expect
We will first stop by in various chocolate shops, where you will try amazing samples. Crunchy hazelnut, dark ganache, salted butter caramel, as well as ginger, tea, coffee, saffron or chili... Forget what you already know, because you’re going to be surprised! Unique to Brussels, the chocolatiers are always experimenting with new flavors, textures and cocoa bean types. The second part is a Belgian Beer tasting session that will take you to bars and taverns around Grand Place. It's a great way to discover small taverns and mix with locals. You will sample beers that are all completely different and all specific to Belgium. You will also get to try some local cheese and cured meat paired with some beer. Abbey beers, Trappists, Lambics, Krieks, Belgian IPAs, Triple Blonds, Double Browns... you name it!  During the tour, you will learn about the city history, discover hidden corners and wander off the beaten path. At the end of the day, you will have met some nice, like minded, people and tasted some amazing chocolate and great beers.  The perfect combination for an afternoon in Brussels! Amazing!
We did this tour the minute we got of the plane and it was hands down the best tour I’ve been on! Mary&Daniel are amazing, knowledgeable, passionate, funny, so friendly and easy going! The chocolates were great, I don’t drink beer, so I was offered something else at every pub and it honestly made my day! I couldn’t recommend the tour more! Thank you, Mary & Daniel, keep up the good work!

The best experience in Brussels
Aug. 2020 • Couples
If you are in Brussels, you MUST take this tour. It is the best thing we have experienced in the city. Mary and Daniel were incredible in making this a very peronalised experience and they accommodated to our needs (as our travel plans were a bit unpredictable due to the pandemic). It is nothing like the boring commercialised tours that you usually experience in big cities.

The tastings were incredible and it was amazing to hear all the background about the beer and chocolate that we tasted. It’s also a great way to support local businesses which is so needed right now. And since it is a tour, you will of course hear many interesting facts about Brussels. :)

It’s hard to believe that there is such a thing as 5,0 on TripAdvisor but after experiencing it, we see that it makes total sense. We hope we’ll be back to Brussels sometime and can do this again.

Do yourself a favor...
Jul. 2020 • Friends
This might be the best tour we have ever attended.
The reason why is simple.
The tour with the fantastic pair of Daniel and Mary as guides, shows you the city in a “non-turisty” way.
Get to experience the local bars/beers, the best handpicked chocolates in town, while having the perfect combination of intellectuel stimulans.

Do yourself a favor and experience this tour, it is something that will truly never be forgotten.

Unforgettable!
Jul. 2020
This tour was the highlight of our stay in Brussels. Our guide Julie was so much fun and shared so many interesting stories and facts. She was very knowledgable and helpful. We tasted delicious chocolate and my husband and cousin loved the beer. I don't drink beer but Julie organised wine for me and I tried a fruity beer that I really liked. We loved walking through the city together and learnt so much. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Brussels, even if only for a short trip!

Just to be clear, the title is in no way an accurate representation of this tour but is a joke that was made during the tour. Every minute of this tour was a fun timeThis trip was planned last minute. I was only one of two people on this tour. Julie, our 25 year old guide, made this trip one of the most memorable times in Europe I’ve hade thus far. The chocolates were perfect and I loved being given the option of which I can try at a couple spots. The beers obviously did not disappoint. You’ll try a wide variety while catering to your preferences when possible. The history was great and it was an awesome tour. Mary even stopped by at the end to ensure we had a stellar time. Highly recommend if you have a few hours before going out to the bars one night. Thanks again...mom. :)

Best chocolate and beer tour in Belgium hands down!
Jun. 2020 • Solo
The Brussels chocolate and beer tasting tour was awesome! Daniel, our tour guy was both knowledgeable and humorous and made the tour all that more enjoyable. So many good highlights that cant name them all but my favorite was the folklore about Manneken Pis. All in all this is a great tour and I highly recommend!

Great tour!
What a great time! Daniel filled us up with chocolate, beer and tidbit of history around Brussels. We definitely had a good time and I’d recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys beer and/or chocolate. We even got some great tips on local bars and restaurants. Five stars!

Amazing and Well Organized Tour
Mar. 2020 • Couples
We had an amazing experience on this tour with our guide Daniel and his assistant. He is extremely knowledgeable of chocolates, beers and the city! We sampled many varieties of delicious chocolates and visited super fun, cool bars in city center. I usually don’t drink beer but found many of the Belgium beers to be enjoyable. We also sampled delicious cheeses and salami. Daniel provided us with a lot of fun facts, history along the way and he gave us great recommendations for restaurants. This is a great tour to take to help orient yourself to the city and it’s absolutely fun!!! Truly worth the money!!!!

Best experience ever!!
Best thing to do in Brussels! We decided to do this tour our first day in town so we could get recommendations on where to eat and buy chocolate and we were not disappointed. Baptiste and Pierre were our guides, Baptiste was very knowledgeable on all information with chocolate, beer, and the city. They were very accommodating to everyone’s preferences such as what kind of chocolate we liked. They always checked in if everyone was fine as we were walking and when we stopped at a shop or pub. You go to four chocolate shops and try a few from each shop. For the beer tasting you try a couple of different beers from each pub. If we didn’t like the beer, Baptiste would try and give us a different one or offer soda or water. We did get some cheese, meat and bread at one of the pubs. I 100% recommend you do this tour as one of the first things to do as you learn so much and see some of the attractions around the Grand Place.
