Porto hop-on hop-off, Douro River cruise and wine tasting
Porto hop-on hop-off
Porto’s hills can make sightseeing tough, especially when it’s hot. This hop-on hop-off Yellow Bus tour makes exploring easy and allows you to personalize your itinerary on a double-decker bus stopping at highlights such as Ribeira, Porto Cathedral, and Vila Nova de Gaia. Onboard commentary provides background on the landmarks, and you'll get added discounts at selected attractions. Upgrade to include a Douro river cruise and wine tasting. Ideal for first-time visitors, especially if you’re short on time.
What to Expect
Book your selected option and board the double-decker hop-on hop-off bus at a designated stop. Stay aboard for the full circuit to view all the highlights of Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, and Matosinhos, or hop off and on at the sights that interest you.

Learn about the landmarks via onboard commentary, and perhaps disembark to explore riverside Ribeira, Porto Cathedral, or the Port Wine Museum. Maybe also hop off to admire the Anemona sculpture close-up or visit Matosinhos’ seafood market—the choice is yours.

Your ticket is valid for 48 hours so there’s ample time to check off all the points of interest you'd like to see. If you’ve upgraded, enjoy an added river cruise and wine tasting. Admire Porto’s skyline as you sail on the River Douro, and call at the Calem Port Cellar to discover local wine-making processes and taste two wines.

Great way to see Porto

We enjoy bus tours of cities so wanted one for our trip to Porto. The option for a river cruise and port tasting made it fantastic value and the Yellow bus looked like the best option for us. First day did the purple route out...More

Confusing and stressful

Before we left for Portugal, we had booked a two day HOHO tour with the upgrade for the river cruise and wine tasting. Financially, it made total sense - for about 80 CAD, we got all three which would have cost much more if purchased...More

Got the 48 hour ticket which included river boat cruise and port wine tour. I thought it was decent value. First bus we got was old and audio wasn’t working. Bus broke down which the kids thought was hilarious until they saw the hill the...More

Avoid this line !

Worst hop-on hop-off experience ever. Waiting times are more 45 min to an hour, the drivers are unkind, the other staff unhelpful, but the worse part is, that you can't listen to the commentary on the bus, as the sound quality is appalling... it is...More

You could either make two bookings, or pay on the bus or at the ticket kiosk in the main square.

The river cruises go from the bottom of the hill down some steps, but I can't remember the name of the road. Ask when you buy your bus tickets.
