Your tour begins at your Porto hotel, where you’ll board a private vehicle destined for the picturesque canals of Aveiro, known as the Venice of Portugal due to its waterways.
On arrival in Aveiro, disembark your vehicle and board a moliceiro, a colorful boat traditionally used to collect seagrass from the Aveiro lagoon. Spend an hour sailing, admiring art-nouveau architecture and the grand buildings of Praça do Rossio and then disembark to amble along cobbled streets.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with ovos moles (authentic sweets) and visit the Art Nouveau Museum and the Mercado do Peixe (Fish Market), two fo the town’s cultural highlights.
