The experience was wonderful however for the cost paid we expected at least better Wine and wine while preparing. If you go take your own wi e because the first batch is good but then it goes way down after that.

This has been genuinely the best day of our holiday in Crete. From start to finish the day was amazing and Maria was a fanatic guide. If you want to experience some genuine and authentic Cretan culture, food and wine then this is the trip for you. Maria was so knowledgable, friendly and fun and made the day for us all. Highly recommend this, you won’t be disappointed.

The tour was really interesting and we learnt a great deal about the local cuisine. The food was delicious. Our host Vincent was very knowledgable and polite. I highly recommend the tour.

This was a perfect way of not only learn about the Greece food. But also to know à lot about Creete. Under very nice circumstanses in a garden inside Creete. The hospitalet were super!

Started the trip by visiting The Olive oil Mill at Kanakis, it was interesting , informative, from there we went to Dourakis Winery, there we sampled a selection of fine wines, and had a tour. Our guide was Micheal, who made our day enjoyable, he was so knowledgeable, relaxed, and we enjoyed his company, we were a small group of 4, he brought us to lunch at a taverna , a meal was cooked by a family who provide all the produce which was served to us, amazing local food, this trip overall provided us with a real insight to tradition and culture of Crete.Highly recommended .

We had the most amazing and memorable day on this tour. Our guide Michalis was very relaxed, thoughtful and knew exactly how to explain everything during the tour. The drive wasn't too long, and the airconditioning was nice. You'll be able to taste a lot of products at the Olive Oil Mill store and ofcourse buy some. The winery was beautiful, staff were kind and wines were delicious. The cellar was interesting and the wine tasting was very relaxed. The lunch was authentic, relaxed and very tasty. Guide was exceptionally friendly and informative. Learn lots about the history of the town as well as Cretan food. With a very varied set of tastings but all of exceptional quality and taste.

Experienced guide who truly gave us value for the money. Tour was modified on the fly based on any wishes we had. Specially memorable visit to the authentic bakery. Michalis provided also good tips for the rest of our trip in mind including restaurants that the locals go and some small cities worth visiting by a car.

One of the most fun activities you can do in Crete. I was a little skeptical in the beginning, because Crete outdoors can be rough. This particular activity is a very safe one because of Nikos team. You will experience jumps, as well as climbing down with ropes and swimming in very cold waters. You’re being watched and guided all the time by multiple people. it is an activity recommended for older teenagers and adults and cautions should be always used. There is a lot of excitement and you can see unbelievable nature. No prior experience is required. If you’re local, you can even get a discount if you ask.

Vincent,our guide was wonderful. He picked us up at our “house” promptly. He was knowledgeable about the island, was extremely personable and it felt like we were hanging out with a friend. The tour itself was excellent, as he explained exactly how the olive oil was made, answering lots of questions as we went along from the adults in our family as well as the young adults. We learned a lot about the different acidity of the olive oils and how to best use them.. Tasting was the best! The winery we attended was beautiful ..they gave us a choice of the kinds of wines we wanted to taste. The sommelier was outstanding in her descriptions of what we were tasting. The lunch we experienced at a local tavern was outrageous. Everything was made and grown on the premises, was extremely fresh and flavorful and our hosts were friendly. All in all, our family highly recommends this tour as part of a visit to Rethymno or it’s surrounding areas. Ask for Vincent… he’s the best!
