About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- T70UTjamier0 contributionsBest tour of Greece! Our guide was Marcos and we had an amazing time! The views, the food, the scenery. We went during winter so it felt like we had the entire beach and island to ourselves. Highly recommend Marcos and his team! The boat ride was the best part of the entire tour. What a thrill! :)Written December 8, 2024
- Mike S0 contributionsExcellent TripExcellent half day trip. Took us around the islands and slowed down and stopped for everyone to get great pictures and then dropped us off on the beach with the ship wreck for everyone to swim and relax. Incredible day. Highly recommended.Written November 14, 2024
- Trek391258060710 contributionsbest view best guideI had an unforgettable birthday with AbbaTravel! The destinations, Navagio Bay and the Blue Caves in Zakynthos, were absolutely breathtaking. Our guide was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make the experience special. I even lost my selfie stick, but the guide retrieved it and delivered it to my hotel the next day free of charge! The landscapes were stunning, and I highly recommend AbbaTravel for anyone looking for an exceptional travel experience. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable!Written November 5, 2024
- Escape277093244780 contributionsAn unforgettable tripIt was a really nice experience. It was our first day in Greece. We had an overall view of Zakynthos, explored the Blue Cave and hiked to see the shipwreck beach clearly. The guide and driver are all very nice people. The lunch was cheap and delicious. When we were on the way back, we saw very beautiful sunset. It was so nice of the driver to stop and let us take lots of photos although this was not included in the journey. Really enjoy the trip and would like to recommend it to all of you planning to visit Zakynthos!Written November 5, 2024
- simone h0 contributionsShip wreck and caves tourThis was a fantastic trip - 3 hrs was just about right .. the captain gave us 3 swims and took us snorkeling into some secret caves.. a mixture of very young and older passengers; everyone seemed to enjoy. Be very slow on the roads, they are very narrow with hairpin bends- but well worth it when you get there!Written October 29, 2024
- shiyig20170 contributionsBest tour experience in ZakynthosThe trip was amazing. Costas was our guide. He was a very nice, passionate and funny person. We went to the beach of ship wreck, also to see it from the top of the mountain , as well as some other beach spots. The time was well managed. The highlight was swimming in the blue cave. Besides all the fun parts, he also took loads of beautiful pictures and drone videos for us, for free! He was a tour guide plus a private photographer! I would always recommend his tour when you go to Zakynthos!Written October 24, 2024
- Nomad7962340 contributionsAwful tour ever!It was an absolutely awful trip! The tour was absolutely not what it promised in the itinerary. And the tour guide is the worst I've ever seen! This tour guide loaf on the job, misbehaved and disrespectful to the customers and his own job! 1. At the Xigia beach stop, the tour guide made us staying there for almost an hour just so he can finish his lovely breakfast there! Xigia beach should only spend 10 minutes as it stated in the itinerary, all the customers had nothing to do there but watching the tour guide enjoyed his breakfast with his colleague for almost an hour. This is ridiculous! Stealing the company's time and wasting customer's paid time to just let him enjoy his breakfast is extremely shameful! 2. After wasting too much time in Xigia beach, when we reached the Shipwreck viewpoint, the tour guide told us that we only have 30min to go through the path and take the pictures and come back to the bus. Not mentioning 30min is way less than what you promised in the itinerary, just to go through the rocky path back and forth would use at least 20min, giving us only 10min photo time is ridiculous! Everyone came here mainly for the shipwreck beach and viewpoint, and you only gave us 10min for it?! Is this because the 60min you wasted us for your breakfast?! 3. We were so rushed taking the pictures and walked through the rocky path to came back to the bus. The tour guide SCREAMED at us crazily that we did not come back in the 30min that he generously gave to us! Not mentioning he was extremely disrespectful to any of us in our family, the thing I don't understand is that he had NO SHAME at all to blame us spending reasonable time on the iternery spot we paid for while he wasted whole bus of customers' time to wait him enjoying his breakfast. 4. During the boat ride, the tour guide was smoking all the time. The smoke of cigarettes is unbearable. This tour guide is uncivilized and he doesn't care about the customers at all. 5. The boat only stop by the Navagio Beach for only 10min! Again this is not what you promised in the iternery that more than an hour would be spend in here. For the most important spot of the iternery, we didn't even have enough time for the pictures! 6. The boat could not actually go into the blue caves, which never stated in the itinerary. And we did not go to Cameo island, not even for 10 minute photo time. Honestly we felt cheated. In summary, if I could leave 0 star, I would. The tour guide slack off too much at work and disrespectful to the customers who didn't cooperate to compensate the time he wasted on his breakfast during the tour. Throughout the day, he seemed to just be hitting on certain customers who he thinks he can get tips from. Apparently the tour guide doesn't respect the customers and his own job. He doesn't care at all how much time, money and efforts people put on their planned trip, if the trip get messed up, they wouldn't have the second chance to do it again but just take it as a terrible experience...Written October 21, 2024
- moggieboy0 contributionsA splendid day out in ZakynthosThis was the perfect all-day tour. We got taken on a trip round the beautiful island of Zakynthos, and the tour guide Andreas could not have been better. He was an excellent driver and made everything really interesting - even though he must have done the same trip many times it felt like a unique experience for us. The boat trip was amazing and the food at the lunch stop-off was excellent (and vegan friendly).Written October 19, 2024
- Michael S0 contributionsWonderful dayFrom start to finish, we were well informed of the days events, and the tour guide was excellent , patient, and friendly. The trip to the cliff top and to the wreck was amazing. It was a shame we couldn't go on the beach at the shipwreck, but we fully understand the reasons why we couldn't. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone.Written October 17, 2024
- annikaleok0 contributionsThe most amazing views during the tourWe were taken to the most amazing places and beaches. Also had an opportunity to swim. Highly recommend to take this tour, because it was one of my highlights in life. Don't forget to bring snacks and water because we had lunch quite late during the tour.Written October 2, 2024
- martaharp0 contributionsShipwreck Viewpoint, and beach. We had a great time and our tour guide Theo was very kind and helpful. We had plenty of time to enjoy sceneries and also to swim. Highly recommend this tour, because it’s worth every penny of it.Written October 1, 2024
- Ethan K0 contributionsDefinitely recommendGreat value for money for the boat ride alone. Our tour guide Theo was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. The stop at shipwreck beach was excellent, the view you get from the cliff is amazing so definitely worth the little trek to get there! Boat ride to the caves was excellent too, especially since they anchor and let you jump off the boat and swim into the caves. If you’re looking for a bit of sightseeing - would definitely recommend.Written September 27, 2024
- V1701WYgeorgek0 contributionsGreat tour to go sightseeing at ZakynthosTravelling at a very cosy air conditioned mini bus. We had the best tour guide, Mitsos, who was very informative, helpful, jolly and knew the way to take us around the island to have the best view. We travelled with a big boat to the Shipwreck, Golden and White Beach and the blue caves. We dived for swimming at one of the caves and the white beach, the waters were extraordinary. We would highly recommend this tour.Written September 25, 2024

After a complete shambles at the start, we had a great trip out. We were told to meet at a restaurant about 1km from the port, so we stopped there and had a drink (very expensive, 15€ for 2 coffees and a coke). The waitress asked if we were on the boat trip and told us if we had a car then we’d be best driving in to the harbour as the coach sometimes doesn’t stop or does stop and can be full so you have to drive in anyway. After arriving at the harbour, we were told we’d be on the yellow boat. Then complete chaos kicked in as they tried to get all the people on the 3 boats. First it was people off the coach on one boat, then wouldn’t let you on if you didn’t have a slip of paper, finally we were the very last to get on a boat and ended up with the best seats at the front, got a little wet but good fun.
Shipwreck beach is a must be seen place, but it IS RAMMED with boats and people. The blue caves and swimming were lovely.

We did the turtle spotting and beach one day and the shipwreck and blue caves the next day (highly recommend). We also hired a quad bike through this company and travelled to Zakynthos Town and other places of interest. We were happy enough with the organisation of the tours, transport and the staff were friendly. At €30-35 per tour, the price was reasonable. You will see sights and blue sea like nowhere else, it was truly mesmerising. We managed to spot a few turtles which was fantastic for the time of year. Take your snorkel to the blue caves and take a look below the surface of the crystal clear waters. We enjoyed our trips and would happily book with this company again. The lady here was particularly lovely to deal with, always give us little freebies by way of appreciation, she was most helpful.

We took the boat trip to see the blue caves and shipwreck beach. The guys were great and seamless to book through. We missed our boat trip time (add an extra 10 -15 mins on the google map times 🙈) and it was no problem, they just booked us on to the next trip going out 10 mins later. The captain didn’t speak much English but he was lovely and sweet & made sure everyone had a good time. He could see I was interested in taking photos and lined up the boat a few times so I could get a good shot & he’d point out things to us. It was everything it was meant to be and the sights were very beautiful, the water was insane. I very much recommend seeing shipwreck beach via boat and from foot above. We were very lucky the beach was pretty quiet when we got there but we were there right at the start of the season & well timed I think.

First of all, we contacted the company the day before to check if the trip still goes on as it’s recommended but we didn’t receive any reply.
We went to the pick up location following the indications they gave, which were completely useless, we didn’t see any sing showing were the company was located so we asked a person from other company and they indicated us where to go. Once we arrived we were waiting to the rest of the people to board while other group coming in a bus (from the daytour I suppose) arrived and board in the nicest boat. We tried to board too but we weren’t allowed even if we arrived before, so we had to wait more and board to a smaller and worst boat.
Once we boarded, the guy at the port told us that due to previous days weather conditions it wasn’t possible to land on the beach, but not only for us but also for every boat, and if we saw people landing were just private boats, which in turns up a false information. When we arrived to the Navagio beach, the captain stayed around so we could take some pictures (however it was almost imposible to get any decent one) and as they said we didn’t land, however all the other companies did and also the other boat from our same company with the group from the bus. So our faces of disappointment and furious was noticeable, however the captain didn’t speak English at all and we weren’t able to communicate with him, so someone contacted the company to complain. In response they said that they were going to call the captain to sort it, however that called arrived 30min later when we weren’t around the beach anymore. We supposed it was the company calling him and not a personal call but we don’t even know because nothing happened, so we continued the rest of trip with couple of more stops, not very interesting from my point of view and we went back to port before time because obviously we skipped that 1h stop on the beach which was the key part of the trip.
I personally felt defrauded. I can understand that because of weather conditions we cannot land to the beach but I cannot get that we were the only ones we couldn’t, and even more if other boats from the same company did.
Just because of lack of honesty or not even a small consideration of a partially refund from the trip I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this service

It supposed to be a relaxing and fun day, visiting ship wreck, blue caves and xigia Beach, but due to weather conditions we bearly reached only Navagio. First of all, they should have canceled the trip or rescheduled it to other day. The boat was not tailored to sail on rough sea. The cruise was a nightmare, the boat was shaking all the time, people got fully soaked from the water coming inside to the boat. All the tourists were scared and didn't feel safe on the board. Some of them asked to leave in the harbor of Ag. Nikolaus, but the crew let only a few of them to do so, the rest had to stay, even they didn't want to.. I don't recommend this travel agency - the safety of the tourists seems to be not crucial for them, otherwise they should people let get off in the harbor. In addition to that, knowing the conditions they took another trip on the boat.. Just to be cleared:They didn't offer any compensation for this "cruise" or even something to drink..

1.Not correct cruise you left your comment.
You are not rating the right cruise "Cruise to shipwreck beach and blue caves and Xigia beach from Zakynthos port" but you leave your comments under another cruise we also offer : From St Nikolaos port: Boat cruise to navagio shipwreck beach and blue caves.
2.We never risk guests safety in any of our cruises tours following all the safety rules (Today it was a rough sea on a certain area and only in the morning ...... later sea got completely calm!)
3. We understand your fear about waves but on your comment you dont speak for your self and speak about the other guests experience.
why? Are you an influencer?
4. You have to know that when a commercial touristic boat depart from a port with f.example 10 persons (guests) has to be back to the same or another port (if need it) with the same number of persons(guests).
And only if somebody needs medical assistance Captain can organize and approve the exception.
5. Even though you spread your panic and force (with your screams) the Captain to approach the nearest port to leave you there.
And even we send mini busses to collect you from St Nickolas port and bring you without of course charge back to your accomodations
we didn't offer any "compensation" for this cruise.
We respect your comment!
Thank you!

We booked the trip with the help of Eurosky Travel agency from Laganas
Thank you missis Sofia !
Very well organized and perfect timing .
We enjoyed a lot the experience ,amazing views, nice people .
To be improved:
Getting on and off the boats was difficult and would be almost impossible for people not so young or with mobility limitation.
The boat was quite crowded and due to this not quite comfortable.
Would be good to look at the number of tourists when reserving the trip,

The shipwreck is worth a visit but the water itself was our highlight!
The colors of the water are incredible and the blue caves are definitely worth a visit. Our captain didn't say much, but we really enjoyed ourselves and he had such a friendly attitude, that we felt comfortable with him. Additionally, he was a good driver and even fed the fish so we could snorkel around them.

There were some changes in the bookings , which I feel were already “scheduled” to happen (and ended up being more expensive). Anyway, I talked with an organizer through WhatsApp, and although there was some miscommunication, I got to the tour.
All the operators were kind , and the views are absolutely stunning.
For the blue caves, we went to several, all gorgeous, but it seems the most pictured one was not included . They mentioned something about winter time, but I didn’t fully understand.
Considering all, I think the tour was quite expensive, but still the views are amazing.

the first day they sent us home because the weather was not ideal for going out even when the weather was good. when we arrived the next day, there were so many people that they sent us to other carriers. You don't have a contract with them and they didn't take us. so we didn't get a trip or money. terrible and it didn't happen the first time, the locals said!!! hell!!! We want money back asap!!!

Second day we went with a tour guide Martyna, who was very friendly and kind, with loads of interesting information. First we went to the Xigia beach with a bus, where you could take a swim in the water rich of sulphur. Then we went to a boat to see the Shipwreck and spend an hour then, you can also swim there only be aware that it gets deep very fast but the colour of the water is stunning. Last but not least we went to see the Blue caves, which was so good! Very nice view and a chance to swim or feed some fishes.
Overall I’m very pleased with the company, their work and mainly attitude. Everyone has been very friendly and kind when were describing the trip in the street and I would definitely choose this company again!

Do you get to go all the way up to the shore at shipwreck beach on this tour?
Written September 19, 2019
Yes, the boat took us onto the beach and let us get off for about 30 minutes. They were strict with time for this because the boat had to move away from the beach in the meantime. They also said it was weather permitting. Would recommend the trip
