What to expect
Meet your guide in central Copenhagen on your own bike or, if you need to hire a bike (additional cost), arrive in advance to organize the rental. Don an optional cycle helmet, and set off behind your guide. Your tour largely follows cycle paths, so you are mostly away from traffic. Pass the waterfront Copenhagen Mall (Fisketorvet) before crossing a bridge to the Brygge area. Then, trace picturesque waterside paths into the quaint Nokken allotment district. Situated along the water, this charming enclave is composed of allotment gardens and quirky, hand-built huts, and houses. Savor the relaxed atmosphere and learn about Nokken’s roots as a fishing community. Break for coffee and a snack (included) at the Sønderbro Haveforening allotment area, and enjoy a fun ride on Denmark’s only Cuban bicycle—a 3-wheeler with a passenger seat. Resuming your tour, ride by Sluseholmen, one of Copenhagen’s upscale residential neighborhoods. Admire the innovative canalside townhouses and continue around the flower-filled Frem and Musikbyen allotment quarters into more tucked-away areas—some unknown to many Copenhageners. After a few hours of exploring, arrive back at the start point, where your tour ends.

biking with no cars (almost)
Sep. 2019
We loved this tour which took us mostly on bike paths to out of the way (but not distant) areas of Copenhagen with great vistas and ambiance. Jorgen gave us lots of little bits of information about the places we passed through and we felt we really got a feeling for a variety of different Copenhagen lifestyles and how things have changed in the past 20 or so years. He was friendly and welcoming (and didn't mind all our questions) and we didn't feel that we were "just another tourist" although he has been doing it for 3 years.

My mother and I had a lovely time exploring parts of Copenhagen we would never have seen without this tour. It was a lovely morning learning about a piece of Copenhagen culture from a true local. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

An epic bike tour off the beaten path
Jul. 2019
This was definitely one of the highlights of our short Copenhagen trip as it perfectly complemented the requisite touristy tour we had a day earlier. It gave us an intimate, upclose and indeed personal glimpse into the locals' way of life. Jörgen was a very knowledgeable, accommodating and almost avuncular guide who made sure we were having fun and safely riding our bikes. He even went out of his way for me and my friend when we got lost while looking for a popular local restaurant post-tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who has a keen sense of adventure, who likes to veer away from the usual city tours and who likes to really get to know a city and its people better.

Discover the Copenhagen charm
Jul. 2019
We only had 2 full days in Copenhagen. The first day was spent going to the typical tourist places. We decided last minute to spend the second day on a bike tour with Jorgen to round off the experience by seeing how "regular" people lived just around the city. We were so glad to have done this!! Jorgen was a great tour guide, having mapped out a tried and tested route with interesting stops. We saw various allotment areas each with a story to tell, rustic cottages set against modern architecture, scenic lakes. We picked and ate berries along the route, and enjoyed some view decks. Of course the highlight is Jorgen hosting us for cake and coffee/tea in how own home that's open only during the summer! The trip is leisurely, we travelled in a relaxed pace. Yet we covered much ground. Highly recommended!!

The only down side is the difficulty finding the meeting place because the signage / number is hard to spot. Remember that it's right off the road by the mall.

P.S. After we said goodbye to the group, we biked off to a wonderful restaurant that Jorgen recommended, and got lost along the way. We called Jorgen to recalibrate our direction. Being the gentleman that he is, he biked towards us and accompanied us instead. THANK YOU! That will forever be part of the Copenhagen charm that we will remember.

Great tour of the unknown Copenhagen!
Aug. 2019
This tour is great and the tour guide Jörgen is very nice and have excellent knowledge about his Copenhangen. We live in Malmö and have been to Copenhagen lots of times but we did not know that the areas Jörgen took us to existed. Next to newly developed modern blocks we visited beautiful green areas also undergoing changes but in a different way! All described and explained by Jörgen. It is a beautiful tour and sometimes it is really hard to think that you are in a capital city. Thanks Jörgen !

Amazing Bike Tour!!
Jun. 2019 • Friends
An absolutely wonderful bike tour through areas of Copenhagen that you would never normally visit without such a fantastic guide. Very easy to find the meeting point, and you can rent a bike there, or just use donkey bike ride share app. The trip lasted ~4 hours and stayed off the main tourist and car filled areas. I never imagined there was so much nature and greenspace just outside of the hustle and bustle of the city center. I absolutely recommend this tour for anybody who wants to see more than just the typical tourist spots, and wants to try something different.
