City Sightseeing Reykjavik Hop-On Hop-Off Tour
Explore Reykjavik at your own pace on this city sightseeing hop-on hop-off tour. With a ticket that is valid for 24 hours, you make the decisions about where to get off the bus and how long to spend at each of the 15 stops, whether its the Old Harbor or Harpa Concert Hall. Alternatively, simply stay aboard for the entire loop listening to the audio commentary as it gives context to each site.
What to Expect
Board the double-decker City Sightseeing bus at any of the 15 stops around Reykjavik and show your voucher to the driver.

Once settled in, you have the option of staying on the bus as it makes a loop around the city, from Harpa Concert Hall to Hofdi House, listening to informative audio commentary along the way. Otherwise, you can jump on and off at the various stops to explore Reykjavik City Hall and the Old Harbor; visit the thermal pools of Laugardalur valley, and learn about the country's history and culture at the National Gallery of Iceland and Whales of Iceland exhibition (entrance fees at own expense). Wherever you get off, you don't need to worry about return transport as the buses run regularly from morning through late afternoon. The voucher is valid for 24 hours, so it's up to you how long or little time you spend on the bus and at each stop.

After making your final stop, take advantage of the bus' free Wi-Fi to upload photos before getting dropped off at your chosen bus stop.

Quick Overview

Enjoyed the tour with stops at all the places of interest - museum, church, large park with old styles of houses.

Great way to see Reykjavik

A really nice way to get around Reykjavik and see the various places of interest without trying to get around on your own.

DON’T DO THIS- they sell you a ticket for service every 30 minutes, but then only send the bus every hour or so.

This is a major rip off. The bus doesn’t go every 30 minutes and they charge full price onthe days they only have one bus operating every one hour or so. They leave people stranded as a result and keep tourists from using thei precious...More
