Highlights
    What to Expect
Following a pickup between 11:30am and 11:50am at your accommodation in Reykjavik, hop into your vehicle and head out along the south coast of Iceland to the Sólheimajökull glacier with your guide.

On arrival, enjoy a gentle hike along the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue, and listen as your guide sheds light on the region’s complex geology. Along the way, look out for the glacier’s impressive crevasses, ridges, and waterways. With all glacier safety equipment provided, you’re free to relax and soak up the scenery.

Next, visit the Skógafoss waterfall — widely considered among Iceland’s top natural attractions. Enjoy a photo stop here and capture the action as the water cascades down the high cliffs, then savor a traditional Icelandic dinner at a local restaurant.

After dinner, head out in search of the spectacular Northern Lights. Stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall — illuminated by night — and watch the skies for the shimmering green, orange, and purple tones.

When your time seeking out the Northern Lights comes to an end, return in comfort to your Reykjavik accommodation in the late evening to conclude your tour.

Wonderful experience in Vatnajökull glacier, the largest ice cap in Iceland! We've learned a lot about volcanic activities, history of the region and legends. Many thanks to our guide Ian for his smile and his formidable knowledge! ;)
