About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- IrememberKodachrome0 contributionsI got awesome photos and had a great time! Our tour was based in Hanksville, Utah. Siggi and John took us to places the average tourist might never find, at just the right time of day to get amazing photos! And we got to do drone photography of the desert, which gave us incredible views. Both Siggi and John were helpful and patient, and having 2 excellent photographers to ask questions of was great! And their positive vibe made it a very fun and cohesive group. One of my best photo trips ever!Written April 11, 2024
- Brad R0 contributionsLife changingI am not one who leaves many reviews, if I do it is someone who has impressed me. This is way beyond impressed. I just returned from Africa and encountered a life changing experience. The trip was setup Through Viking International Photo Tours (VIP) and using Primaland Safaris in Tanzania. Landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Jackson from Primaland met me, then transported me to the hotel. Primaland took care of everting, from transportation, accommodation, food, baggage handling even music. The hotels were top notch and food was great. They arranged for a walking Safari in Arusha National Park, we visited Lake Manyara, spent 3 days in the Serengeti, visited the Ngorongoro Crater and finished with a Maasai village. Primaland seemed to find the best spots for photographing animals. I never felt rushed and really enjoy the photos I came home with. I felt like I was traveling with family not a cold business that normally don’t care. Our photo tour guide was the best. I don’t care if you shoot cell phone photos or have the latest mirrorless camera, he will show you was to get the best out of your photos. I give these two companies the highest marks and would recommend them to everyone. Thank you Primaland and Viking you really rock!Written October 22, 2022
- SandyS13130 contributionsMaiden Icelandic Solo AdventureViking international photo tours was extremely helpful planning our first adventure to Iceland. Since I am a photographer and my husband is not we decided to rent a car and travel solo. I wanted to make sure we didn’t miss a photo op so so we enlisted Siggi and Criz to help us map out the plan. Every stop was planned in succession along with great accommodations. Sites for best sunrises and sunsets along with timing was also provided. The rental company Viking provided gave us a brand new SUV…bonus! Great fun packed adventure and we couldn’t be more grateful.Written July 28, 2022
- 487benedikth0 contributionsAn amazing expirienceI chose this Tour because i planned to prompose to my girlfriend. I wanted someone professional to take pictures and this tour was the perfect opportunity to combine this with a special memorable place. We were picked up at 8am at the hotel, becaus our tourguide Odinn suggested to start earlier, so we could optimize the time of daylight (days are short in the wintertime). Odinn is a great tourguide and a save driver, even though the weather wasn't good. He had a lot of interesting stories to tell, so ride to the southcoast didnt get boring. His english was very good and understandable, even if you are not used to speak english a lot. We visited a view breathtaking waterfalls and "the Black beach". For lunch we visited a small restaurant near the beach. The pictures he made were amazing, and we got them just a few days after. Overall it has been an amazing tour with a great tourguide and absolutly worth its money.Written January 9, 2022
- MaireB14160 contributionsSimply Incredible! What an incredible experience! I travelled to Iceland on my first solo trip and I reallyyyy wanted to get some good photos of me with the beautiful South Coast landscape. I very candidly and apologetically told my guide, Odinn, that I was incredible awkward at posing and that this is the first time I had done something like this. I should never have worried about being awkward. Odinn is so incredibly talented and I was in utter shock with how beautiful the photos came out. He has a beautiful artistic eye and is so personable that you forget you’re even being photographed. On top of that, he was a wonderful tour guide and was able to provide a very knowledgeable and authentic facet to the trip. On top of that, Criz was absolutely fantastic. She was so organized and checked in to make sure everything was going well! I really appreciated that she reached out both during and after the tour to make sure I was happy with it! I can’t wait to come back and do another tour with this company and photoshoot with Odinn! If you have time, definitely book it. It is 10000% worth it. I now have these beautiful memories that will last me a lifetime. Thank you Odinn and Viking International Photo Tours!!Written August 27, 2021
- V1851AYdebrah0 contributionsAmazing, private 10-day tour -- tailor made for our groupWe were able to go places otherwise inaccessible by regular rental cars. Our expert guide/driver, Siggi, worked tirelessly to get us to the most iconic places at the best time for great light. He worked with each photographer to assure we were getting the best shots possible. If we wanted assistance, Siggi was there; if we wanted more independence, that was fine, too. This was a well-planned and well-organized trip. We made the best use of each hour, traveling from one site to another. I am extremely pleased, appreciative, and satisfied with VIP services.Written August 7, 2021
- photophysics0 contributions14 Remarkable Winter Days Around IcelandThis was my first serious photography workshop and tour, and I admit to being skeptical at first. Wow, what an eye opener! I cannot imagine ever finding two better professional photographers and guides than Siggi Brynjarsson and Mads Iversen. They were just outstanding. This was a serious tour, a few of the other participants were among the best photographers I've ever met. And I can't imagine finding a better or more responsive organizer than Criz, who went way beyond for me and who I now chat with regularly. Fourteen days of non-stop photography through the depths of the Iceland winter is no small thing and they exceeded my expectations every step of the way. Bottom line, you can't go wrong with this team. One piece of advice: if you plan to go photograph Iceland in winter for 14 days, take lots of vitamins along because you will need them!Written April 10, 2020
- alsak0 contributionsIceland in Winter photography workshopI recently completed the Iceland in Winter photography workshop. It was an unforgettable experience. Siggi and David's kindness and passion for photography and for teaching were evident, sharing their knowledge and love of the art with each of the attendees. They gave attention to each of us, often going beyond the call of duty to ensure we "got the shot" and sharpened our skills as photographers. I look forward to a future photographic journey and workshop with them!Written March 1, 2020
- I49DFadrianb0 contributionsFantastic Photography WorkshopI had a fantastic time on a 5 day Winter Photography workshop in Iceland. The workshop was well organised and we went to some amazing locations for our photoshoots at the best time so we either beat the crowds or got the best light. The tour guides Siggi and David obviously have a great passion for photography and were keen to pass on tips on how to get the best shots at each location plus their skill at negotiating the ever changing icelandic weather and road conditions (we had the tail end of Storm Dennis during the beginning of our workshop!) meant that we got to all of the main shooting locations safely. Definitely looking forward to going on another workshop with Viking International Photo Tours!Written February 29, 2020
- DawnG18680 contributionsAmazing experience!Everything about our experience was wonderful. From the initial booking to connecting us with Bent, our photographer was very smooth. Bent is incredibly talented and extremely detail-oriented, he knew all the places to go for a great view. The pictures turned out gorgeous and much more than we expected!Written December 18, 2019
- PawanMaheja0 contributionsWell planned and well executed trip!Joined them for a winter photography 5 day workshop. They were exceptional. @siggiphoto Sigurdur, our guide was just fantastic with his composition and was well updated with weather forecasts and predictions and changed itinerary as per forecasts. Our driver Eidur updated us with the history and culture of each place we visited and also helped us each time with providing extra micro fiber towels, helping us wear the crampons and more over keep us entertained with the local Troll stories! Highly recommend them!Written December 5, 2019
- KelliGMurray0 contributionsPerfect, hassle-free tour!My husband and I had a limited time in Iceland and the South Coast was very high on our list. We opted for a private tour to make things easier for us and to customize our time. Bent was not only a great guide and very knowledgable, but he was also a great driver, and knew exactly when to take us to each sight revolving around the weather. He was professional and photographs came out AMAZING!! We are beyond pleased with our excursion with Bent, would 100% recommend to anyone!Written November 10, 2019
- petermE5010VB0 contributionsExceptional. We went on a private photo tour of the South Coast with Siggi (@siigiphoto) and it was a wonderful experience with an exceptional guide. We wanted to see the highlights but also wanted to avoid the crowds - not an easy task by any measure, but Siggi managed it. We visited the popular crowded locations but with Siggis knowledge we were able to avoid a lot of the congestion. A great example - Skogafoss has to be one of the most crowded waterfalls but Siggi provides wading boots so you can walk out into the shallow creek bed to get a good view of the waterfall with hardly any crowds in front - fabulous. There had to be 200 people there and I was the only one with that view. We also visited some off the track locations with hardly any other people around, some we had to ourselves. The tour went way over the allotted time and we were never hurried. Siggi is an incredibly talented photographer and was very generous with his knowledge ... and his tripod. I got some great pics and learnt a huge amount about Iceland and the art of photography. The tour was exceptional 10/10.Written October 3, 2019
- Alabamamud0 contributionsOne Day Tour in the HighlandsWow to experience the Highlands. I am so grateful to have booked a day tour with Siggi. He took us to the Highlands in central Iceland. The sparsely inhabited plateau that covers most of the interior of Iceland is like visiting a foreign planet. Siggi is an amazing guide! He is knowledgeable, fun and so patient. I can not wait for my next tour with “Siggi the Great”! He is definitely my favorite.Written August 19, 2019
- SouthernBelle940 contributionsOne day Highlands Tour with SiggiI had one day to kill before starting another tour so I spent it with Siggi going through the Highlands. Not only is Siggi extremely knowledgeable, but he is very professional, patient, helpful and just plain fun to be around. Even though I am always learning from him and enjoying the scenery, he makes me laugh nonstop. That combination makes for a most enjoyable day. I have now completed three tours with Siggi and I have already signed up for my fourth. 😉Written August 18, 2019
