- 1Tito’s bunker, one of the top secrets of former Yugoslavia, is hidden under the mountain Zlatar, with the deepest point of 280 meters underground. The bunker was built for 26 years in secret, with its main purpose to protect Josip Broz Tito, the president of former Yugoslavia, and 350 people from political and state leadership in case of nuclear attack. ARK, which stands for the Atomic War Command, has twelve blocks that had different purposes and they will take you to the 60ies and the 70ies of the last century. Discover this underground facility with our experienced guides, who will guide you through Tito’s secret place.

- Explore140810383140 contributionsSuper fun and well planned first time rafting experience with visitkonjicWe did rafting the very first time and it was a beautiful and fun experience! The stuff was super friendly and we got everything what we needed. They gave us towels for the shower and even plastic bags for the wet swimwear which was very thoughtful :) The toilet and showers were also very clean. The rafting itself was breathtaking with gorgeous views of the river neretva, we also drank from the river directly and it was very tasty! With the special suits we got from the stuff we were able to swim in the icecold river as well. After the rafting and taking a shower we had dinner with our group which was also amazing! Thanks for the super fun first time rafting experience! Pozdrav Dino! (Almedin^^)Written August 27, 2024

- ShelbyShelb0 contributionsRafting was and epic outdoor experience in BIH!Approachable, friendly and helpful owners. We felt well taken care of. Very well organised operator and we felt safe with our guide on the water (rafting). It was a really lovely day, fun and no rushing, just enjoying the nature. We also stayed the night at their camp, which was lovely and new. Hosts were very helpful with additional travel info about the BalkansWritten August 16, 2024

The owners Sanjin & Amela are both the nicest people, everything they do happens with a big smile! The Visit Konjic team also is super friendly and makes sure your experience in Bosnia & Herzegovina is the best you could have!Written August 5, 2024

- Fienli0 contributionsBest trip! The best organisation we have come across. We were trekking with the scouts and bumped into their organisation. We climbed 2 mountains together with them: Zelena Glava and Valika kapa, rafted, jeep tour to Lukomir and we stayed at their campsite (which is hugely beautiful). They also arranged transport and food. The activities are all great! The team at Visit Konjic, is the most hospitable team ever! We had the most wonderful trip and it's thanks to them! Amela and Sanjin are the best & Bosnia is a hidden gem! Greetings from Scouts Ninove (Belgium)Written August 5, 2024

- helmutik0 contributionsPure fun with the right dose of adrenalineOur group of 9 (ages from 14 to 60) stayed at their outdoor center for lodging and HB (both very good) and went on a combined Rakitnica River (Neretva tributary) canyoning + Neretva Rafting/canoeing tour. Starting with an adventurous Rakitnica canyoning part with somewhat challenging steep walking descent to the Rakitnica canyon entry point, followed by about two hours of pure fun, making our way downstream by floating, crawling, sliding and walking on rocks - all that in a freezing cold water (of course with a wetsuit on) in beautiful, untouched nature. Cliff diving option also included and taken advantage of by some of us. After reaching the Neretva junction, we were presented with a nice meal, and went on down the Neretva on rafts and canoes for another couple of hours (definitely less challenging than the canyoning but some nice Class III rapids kept adrenaline on). Throughout the tour, we enjoyed the most beautiful nature in its pristine form, turquois water one could drink, rock formations, waterfalls, you name it. Everything well organized, knowledgeable guides, definitely the cherry on the cake of our entire trip. After another night in their outdoor center, we then took a guided mountain hiking tour and enjoyed it just as much. In the center, some of us tried their ferrata climbing wall and bridge connecting the buildings. Overall, highly recommended center. Perfect communication, lot of flexibility in organizing, and willingness to accommodate our special wishes was particularly appreciated. Their center is still growing with very ambitious plans ahead. We wish Amela and her team great success!Written August 4, 2024

- elmarae20140 contributionsFantastic experiences were had!I went on a singles group vacation and it was AMAZING. I came as a guest, and I indeed left feeling like a friend. I became stronger. Dare to go Balkan - a challenging and versatile 10 day tour in Bosnia. It has Visit Konjic as a basecamp and the tour is made possible by the passionate teammembers from Visit Konjic. Location: Situated conveniently near several mountain ranges, lakes, modern and rural villages. Near Mostar and Sarajevo. Compound: Modern, clean hotel with 12 rooms, a common room, material renting, a garden with a training wall for climbing and for via ferrata... Even a hangbridge is included. There is a campfire site. Off season they will be adding to the compound so check their current website when you book, to see what they added. Rooms: I was in a 2 persons room, with two beds, tv, with bathroom. It is clean and decorated conveniently, if maybe a little basic. Food: Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all tasty, with a nice variety of Bosnian food. There were vegetarian and gluten free options. Alcohol is not served by them, but we were allowed to bring our own. Activities: You can rent gear needed for nature: hiking, rafting, canyoning, swimming, climbing and more. You need a good guide in this beautiful country with its extreme nature and culture. Luckily, the team consists of great guides. We were encouraged to train, play games, make friends, deepen relations and explore nature as well as culture. Nature: The surrounding nature is more than gorgeous. Group leader / team: An experienced and intensely passionate team. They are a international group of people. They consist of fantastic all-rounders and several specialists. They speek English well, offer advice, answer questions and it is obvious how much they care about your experience their top priority.Written July 27, 2024
- 795haralda0 contributionsPerfect day Rafting on the NeretvaEverything was organized absolutely professional. You get everything you need for a perfect day on the river, with the neopren-suits you can swim in the very cold Neretva without any problems. Our guide was very nice and he told us many interesting things. Of course he was a professional so the trip was absolutely safe. Neretva is one of the most beautiful river in Europe we´ve ever seen - so don´t miss this experience when you come to Bosnia/Konjic. We enjoyed a wonderful+perfect day! Many thanks to the team from Visit Konjic!!Written July 25, 2024

The food is traditional bosnian food (optional but recommend to try) , the portion is more than enough. The programmes are diversed and you can fit them to your interest.Written July 6, 2024

There is a lot of traffic because it's only one street to the bunker. Because of that we were too late (10min) and we weren't allowed to enter the building anymore. If you visit this place, be there on time (half an hour beforehand) otherwise it's a waste of money! We were really sad we didn't see the bunker eventually. I think it would be very nice and interesting to see.

Hi @didiv168,
Thank you for your comment. Tito's bunker is in the restricted zone of ammunition factory, tours are guided and start at 9,12 and 3pm. Unfortunately it's not allowed to enter after exact time because it's huge area, and tourist have bus transfer after entering in time.
We are agency providing just ticket, we would be glad that you contact us on a day tour so we reschedule or refund your ticket.
We hope you had nice time in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It was fast and easy to book the tickets on visitkonjic for the tour, they send the route map as well how we can find the place. I think the Bunker is a "once have to see" place. The guides were proficient, friendly, told a lot about the Bunker's history.

We were looking forward to this tour, and it was interesting learning how people would live in a nuclear war and observing the plans and the individual rooms of this top secret atomic bomb shelter. However, what killed it for us was the reasoning behind it. Why would you want to be one of the few surviving a nuclear attack which cost a fortune to build. Also, there is not at present any conclusive evidence that Tito has even ever visited this facility.

Interesting experience. Very knowledgeable and kind guide. We went around a bit quickly because we overlapped with other groups. I would have appreciated some details on the figure of Tito and greater involvement but I realize that it is not simple, neither for the spaces nor for the place, which Tito actually never experienced and which leaves room only for suppositions

A historical place that takes you back in time. If you are in Konjic, you must visit. The lady who is the guide does her job professionally. Impressive technology for that time and the overall story of that time. The bunker is the biggest kept secret in the former state.

We participated in an English tour and it was very interesting. The guide was very passionate and she managed to transport us to the times the bunker was built. We learned a lot of interesting things and we strongly recommend this tour.
If you plan to get to the location by yourselves, it is better to use the road signs and not Google maps, because Google took us to the wrong place.

Me and my five friends from the Czech Republic were part of group that visited tour in English language. The guide was speaking fluently, excellent pronunciation, we understood everything she said. I have to say that the art in bunker was also really interesting for us. We would recommend the tour to the other friends as well.
Take care.

We really liked the Tito Bunker Tour. The bunker is quite hidden, out of the city. Doesnt look like much from outside, but is really large inside. Interesting tour with Ella who gave all the important information to understand why it was build. Highly recommended if you are into history.
