Not only did he show us some of the nicest trails but we genuinely learnt a lot about the local history and vegetation. We walked at a pace that everyone could manage and felt looked after the entire time. Definitely recommended.Written September 16, 2022

I booked this guided walk this week on my first trip to the Lake District. Jamie is an excellent guide and took us on a long but easy hike through Langdale. He shared a wealth of knowledge about the history of the Lake District, and took us to areas that would have been impossible for me to find alone. He sent detailed instructions ahead of the hike that included a packing list and tips that definitely helped me come prepared. The scenery and views were INCREDIBLE, and Jamie even offered to take photos throughout the hike, which beats selfies especially with these views. If you want to explore areas of the Lake District but prefer a hike that is not too strenuous, I highly recommend booking with Inspirit Walking. Thanks Jamie!

The walk was incredible, and Jamie is very experienced and professional. He knows the area well and we feel we are in safe hand.
This is the first long walk that we’ve done, and it was definitely fun with a good amount of challenges. We have no experience in this sort of exercise, and will definitely recommend this experience to anyone that have the same concerns! It’s a leisurely paced walk, and if you can go shopping for hours, you will be absolutely fine :)
I would recommend to bring loads of changes with you, as the closet cad park cost £8.50 to park ( if the machine doesn’t work you can use app, the hotel nearby have free WIFI, the food also looked amazing) and there are loads of homemade cakes/ bake sell along the walk, definitely recommend the flapjack, it was so tasty! A treat for the amazing walk.

Walking through the Langdales with Jamie was really the highlight of our trip to the Lake District! I didn’t really know what to expect other than hearing that the Lake District is a beautiful part of the UK; Jamie made that beauty come alive for us. His knowledge of the area and joy for nature was a pleasure to experience. He asked in advance if there were any health issues or injuries he should be aware of; I let him know that I have a chronic knee thing, but not to worry over it. He brought hiking poles for me, just in case, which was so thoughtful. We were never rushed; he gave us plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the views—he also took pictures and videos and sent them to me through WhatsApp, which was awesome to get a different perspective of the walk. Coming from the United States and knowing we only had a couple of days, I wanted an experience that let me feel that I had really BEEN to the Lake District and not just skipped through town. Jamie’s expertise was so valuable in making that happen! I highly recommend him!

We found a link to Jamie's site on Trip Advisor after debating how best to use our time in Lake District. We are avid hikers from California who wanted to experience hiking in the Lakes without trying to figure out parking, which trails and all the stuff that can hamper a day of hiking that is not well planned. We would rather spend time on hike then figuring out an area we do not know. Turned out to be a great idea. I highly recommend Jamie. We took great pics saw beautiful views and just really enjoyed hanging with Jamie as well!

Me and my granddaughter, who is 11 years of age went on this walk in spite of the very wet and windy weather conditions. Our tour tour guide Jamie was very friendly and knowledgeable and introduced us to many wonderful sites. Our favourites, were the Waterfalls, the slate mine and the 400 year old bridge. We would highly recommend this to any age group and Jamie was very easy going and made us very comfortable resulting in a brilliant day. Thank you so much. We will certainly be looking at doing another one in the Summer.

The walk was so great!
Jamie was very accommodating to tailor the route to match my last-minute change of plans with my lack of transport, as he offered to change the planned route and make it really convenient for me.
The route was challenging enough but relaxed, suitable for the rainy weather. The views were stunning and we took many awesome photos.
The best part is Jamie’s gregarious and laid-back personality. Was eager to offer insight about the local history and culture, as well as the animals and plants living in the area. I really enjoyed our discussions!
Jamie is a cordial guide with genuine interest in nature and the local ecosystem, offering a really valuable experience to hikers who want to connect with the area they are visiting.
I’m glad I booked this tour and look forward to booking Jamie again next time I visit the lakes.
Highly recommended!

We could not recommend this highly enough! A superb few hours out exploring the magic of Great and Little Langdale. If you love fresh air, fabulous views and a few fun facts thrown in then this is for you. We particularly appreciated the balance of talking and enjoying the views….along with the odd few sections where we were left to just enjoy the beauty of the Lakes by ourselves. All in a great day out

We really enjoyed our walk. We saw some beautiful sights and Jamie was very knowledgeable about the local area. There were lots of points of interest that we would have missed if walking by ourselves. Jamie was also very accommodating, allowing us to book in at short notice. Thanks for a great experience.

Just returned from a wonderful walk with Jamie and his gorgeous dog. This was a perfect time of year to do this walk with all the beautiful autumnal colours. The walk was comfortably placed with lots of scenic highlights along the way including a visit to a lovely cafe with delicious cakes. I would never have done this walk alone but thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to see such stunning scenery. I highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting the Lake District.

After checking out of our Ambleside accommodation, we had a great walk with Jamie around Elterwater and Langdale. This well planned walk enabled us to explore this new area of the Lake District-lots of interesting info and hidden gems . Jamie is open and friendly and made our last day a memorable one. Thoroughly recommended !
