What to expect
Get an early start when your private guide picks you up at your hotel, then travel in comfort in a deluxe air-conditioned vehicle. Your first stop of the day is at Calmsley Hill, a working farm also home to kangaroos, emus, wombats, and koalas. Enjoy morning tea and time to wander at your leisure. Your guide takes you off-the-beaten-track to the best spots to admire a stunning landscape of eucalyptus forests, sandstone formations, and craggy ravines. Follow well-marked trails during short walks and admire the scenery at Govetts Leap Lookout, Bridal Veil Falls, and the Three Sisters, among other scenic locations. For lunch, stop for a 2-course meal at the Hydro Majestic Hotel, an architecturally magnificent building that overlooks Megalong Valley. You can either eat a relaxed bite at the Boiler House Cafe (drinks available for purchase), or choose to dine at the elegant Echoes Restaurant, which comes with a glass of wine, beer, or soft drink. Throughout the day, your guide shares informative commentary about the region’s natural history and human inhabitants, from Aboriginal peoples to colonial settlers. Your private tour can be personalized to spend more time at your favorite places. At the end of the day, your guide returns you to your Sydney hotel.

Good Overview
Feb. 2020
Our guide Paul was very knowledgeable & he shared lots of little stories about many of the sights we saw. This tour was a good overview of what the Blue Mountain area has to offer. Beautiful scenery, interesting walks, & entertaining commentary. Loved the "farm " visit as it was the only opportunity to see Australian animals!Lunch spot was excellent with good views & tasty food. We saw some of the devastation from the bush fires & this gives a tourist a good perspective.

Wonderful day in the Blue Mountains
Feb. 2020
What a wonderful day ! Our guide Dane was so knowledgeable, told interesting stories and made sure we were able to see all the beautiful sights of the Blue Mountains. Our visit included a visit to Calmsley Hill farm seeing kangaroos, koalas and wombats. A yummy lunch was included. Also was amazed to see the regrowth of areas affected by the bush fires. Highly recommend this full day out of Sydney.

Our private tour to Blue Mountains was so nice. There were four of us friends and our driver Dave was so friendly and was such a good tour guide. He suggested places we would have omitted and we were very pleased we took his advice like seeing the Olympic Center. Dave was very accommodating of our needs, gave us recommendations on where the best places to have lunch. We had such a great trip, thank you Dave😊

Really good tour, spoiled only slightly by the smoke from the bush fires. Our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. Because of the fires we weren’t able to visit the Botanical gardens. But had many stops at viewpoints. The trip included lunch at the Hydro Majestic we both had Meat Pie and Pavlova and really enjoyed it .A really good tour, thank you Tyler

Fantastic day. Highly recommended
Oct. 2018 • Couples
We had a thoroughly engaging, interesting and entertaining day - from the koalas in the city to the lookouts over the mountains, the lunch, the champagne and the botanical gardens. Our group of 8 people was extremely well looked by our guide Dane and we appreciated all the extra touches, like the reusable water bottle. Our thanks also go to all the parties involved for making the outing an exceptional experience.

Great Bus Tour
Feb. 2018 • Couples
A very comfortable bus with 8 people in our group. Our tour guide, Dane, was extremely knowledgeable, loaded with facts, making for a very interesting tour. First stop was at Featherdale Wildllife Park where we had our photo taken with a Koala and saw up and close many native birds and animals. The remainder of the tour took us through the Jamison Valley in the Blue Mountains with several stops to take in the views. A delicious lunch at an historic hotel and a final stop at the Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens. I highly recommend this tour.

Great guide, comfy coach
I took two tours with this company and was pleased with both. The first was a half-day "Panoramic Sydney" tour with driver Paul. He was knowledgeable, well organized, and a good driver. The second was an all-day "Blue Mountains Wildlife Day" tour with driver Steve. He was excellent, and managed to get us early to all the stops so we beat the crowds. The highlight for us was a visit to the Featherdale Wildlife Park to see koalas, etc. We visited several lookouts in the mountains, stopped for lunch at the Boiler Room, and visited the botanic gardens. It was a full day, but broken up well so that we didn't feel cooped up on the bus.
