Overview
Discover the history of Sydney on a guided walking tour of the city's The Rocks district. Visit prominent buildings and colonial-era sites such as Cadman's Cottage and Garrison Church, in addition to taking in views of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Along the way, learn about Sydney’s past as a British Australian settlement.
What to Expect
Meet your guide at the starting point, which is easily accessible for cruise ship passengers and Sydney visitors, in The Rocks district. From there, visit historic sites and hear stories about the one-time British Australian settlement from a guide.

The walking tour, which covers 1.2 miles (2 kilometers) at a leisurely pace, focuses on the neighborhood located under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and is a popular tourist destination. Wander around the area’s cobbled stone streets, alleyways, and courtyards. The tour includes stops at Cadman's Cottage, which was built in 1816; Campbell's Cove; the Garrison Church, which is known as the Church of Holy Trinity; and more. Plus, see the shoreline of Sydney Cove, as well as views of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Brian is brilliant

I'd spent many a time over the years in The Rocks. Recently I took the tour. It was great - lots of history that I didn't know and places that I looked at afresh. The tour was really very good.
