After morning pickup at your centrally located accommodation in Brisbane at 7:45am, ride in the comfortable 4WD vehicle up the mountain to Lamington National Park.
Lamington National Park lies within the World Heritage-listed Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, which encompasses some of the world's most extensive stretches of subtropical rainforest, warm temperate rainforest, and cool temperate rainforest.
Stop for morning tea at a spot where you might see koalas and wallabies, then continue into O'Reilly's Tree Top Canopy Walk, located about two hours from Brisbane. There, take a 30-minute walk along a sturdy path that winds though the rain forest canopy. The walkway is made up of nine suspension bridges that span 590 feet (180 meters), with much of the walk at 49 feet (15 meters) above the ground, allowing you to check out the animals and birds from close range.
Take a break for lunch, then explore the rain forest for one hour on a guided hike. Afterward, enjoy an off road experience of the Australian bush as you head back through the forest in your 4WD-vehicle. If you're lucky, you can see some eastern grey kangaroos.
Your tour ends with drop-off at your Brisbane hotel in the late afternoon.
