What a great morning, walking through Wellington with our guide Tor (Victoria). So many little hidden gems found along the way. You would not know about these without our guide. Well worth the money and what a great experience. Our guide was fantastic with not only food knowledge but the local history of Wellington as well. Word of advice - wear stretchy pants!

Katherine Moore was great for us on this tour. We did a TasteBud Tour which ended up just being my wife and I. Katherine was gracious and very informative during our tour. From the local Miller's Coffee Shop to the small deli and specialty grocery store to taste different items, it was all amazing and fun! At the end, Katherine was even kind enough to drop my wife close to Mangere Volcano since it was on her way home. My wife got to have a nice walking adventure afterward. We really appreciate everything Katherine showed us and did for us!

Kath was very friendly and knowledgeable during the whole tour! She took the time to highlight the locally produced goods. The stops we made was right up our alley! Trust that the tour will take you to some spectacular foods! She planned adequate time that we did not feel like we were in a hurry. Great tour if you only have a short time in Auckland! The guides, with their wealth of knowledge and genuinely pleasant demeanors, made the entire journey feel personal and engaging. Elle was a great guide to show us around. I highly recommend this tour as it gave us a nice intro to Auckland. Was a great idea to do it our first morning in town. Highly recommend!

Great tour! Kath and Ellie took us to some interesting places and we had excellent food samples. We had just landed from the states about 4 hours before and this was an excellent way to become acclimated to Auckland and get some tasty grub!

Elle, our guide was very animated and informative, taking us to different food places. We started at Rodd & Gunn for little nibbles and wine - then on to a gourmet shop to sample sweet and savory. There were oils, cheeses, cards, chocolates and kitchen wares. Quite the combination for Foody’s. We then went to Honest Chocolate for some delectable nibbles and interesting tea. Gelato was mentioned early in the tour but it did not materialize. We went on our own later. Elle, hope you got the A/C fixed in the van. It was a bit uncomfortable.

The BEST food tours. We booked her for 3 different cities after our first. She is animated and extremely knowledgeable- don’t eat a big meal before your tour.

Elle was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and funny. We had a party of 6 and all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The spots she showed us were unique and very cool. Food was great!

This was an amazing food tour - high on our list of favorites. The guide was so informative and she knew everyone. We visited a farmer's market and then had a picnic to try different local ingredients - then visited various other shops to try different food. I would recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, Kath, was so knowledgeable! On the Gourmet tour, we saw a local market, tasted a local ginger treat, and spent some time at the beach viewing a large Gannet colony. We continued on to Vineyard Cottages where our hostess, Elle (aka The Big Cheese!), greeted us and toured the farm where she grows veggies, olives, fruit trees and lots of lovely flowers. Ray was our chef and she delighted us with a cheese board and crusty bread. Elle paired it with a local rosé. Lunch was fresh green beans, tender lamb with rhubarb chutney, fresh farm-to-table salad and roast potatoes. Elle paired this with a nice pinot. ( I do wish she'd talked about the wines more and given us a little more!) But, Yum! Dessert was a fudgy brownie with fresh strawberries.

We had an amazing experience, we toured the outer areas of Auckland and had some tasty bites at each spot. Kath has superb knowledge on the history of the country and also has perfect recommendations for anything you want to do.

Kath was great fun to be with and seemed to enjoy her work. Saturday Food Market was a ice experience as well as cheese tasting.
