Suit up in goggles and a jumpsuit, then board the plane and head up to your chosen jump height. Safely strapped to your instructor in a tandem position, jump and free-fall for around a minute over the shores of Lake Wakatipu and the sharp peaks of the Remarkables before he or she pulls the ripcord and you float gently down to land, taking in the amazing scenery on the way down.

Return to Queenstown for drop-off with a certificate of achievement and opt to purchase free-fall photos and video to remember your experience.

You don’t land on your feet, you land sitting on your butt. The landing itself is very smooth and as long as you follow the instructions given by the dive master, there’s no potential danger for you to get hurt.
